It's past time. McConnell can no longer control Senate Republicans.

The GOP can replace him with Kyrsten Sinema.

the guy who (corruptly) made the supreme court 6-3 (as well as (corruptly) held up many lower court Obama appointments to later fill w/ conservatives), now despised by the bulk of his 'party' for not being loyal to dear leader

You have to understand less about political ideology than a 10 year old to think this wanker adheres to leftwing politics

Y'see, Marx is the left wing standard and Burke is the rightwing standard and McConnell is a lot further to the right than Burke, and he's not on the same planet as Marx

Of course, as cambridge university explains, the first conservatives to begin to see Burke as not a true conservative, though they didnt distance themselves as far as contemporary american rightwingers, were the Nazis

If they do manage to cause another world war in the West, as they are trying to do, I will kill as many of them as possible before I die

Rugian, I thought you would be elated with McConnell's performance. The Supreme Court that he built is now coming to install Trump or any other POTUS that comes along as immune for any crimes they may commit.

That will be a red letter day because it will confirm Trump's statement that he could go out on the street and shoot someone with no repercussions.

Since Bitch McConnell became leader of the Senate GOP in 2007, federal spending has increased from less than $3 trillion a year to more than $6 trillion.

During that same period, the federal debt has increased from less than $9 trillion to over $30 trillion (holy shit).

Since Biden entered office, he's been weirdly eager to get almost every unsustainable spending bill the Dems propose passed.

He got totally out-maneuvered by Manchin and Schumer on the IRA.

He's been almost totally silent on the social issues that conservatives care deeply about, providing zero support on that front.

He voted for gun control.

He cares more about shoveling dollars to Ukraine than he does about securing our own border.

He's been a willing mouthpiece for peddling the Democratic narratives regarding Trump, like saying that 1/6 was somehow an insurrection or that every little dumb thing that Trump says is worthy of public condemnation.

He actively sabotaged Republican candidates during the 2022 midterms because he was so blinded by hatred of Trump.

Yes, he's been instrumental in getting Conservative judges appointed, which has been a good thing for the country. But on every other front he's been an absolute disaster for the right, being unhelpful at best and actively harmful at worst.

But by all means, continue listening to tumbleweed and believe his bullshit about how conservatives have zero reasons to despise this guy. Your leftwing bubble won't be popped by me.

"Since Bitch McConnell became leader of the Senate GOP in 2007, federal spending has increased from less than $3 trillion a year to more than $6 trillion."

Everything costs more in 2024 than it did in 2007. Our GDP has almost doubled in that time.

"He cares more about shoveling dollars to Ukraine than he does about securing our own border."

There's nothing wrong with our border ... unless you're white and scared of brown people.

"that every little dumb thing that Trump says is worthy of public condemnation"

really? i missed all of that... i recall him being totally silent on all of Trump's continual lies & idiocy (yes, he wouldn't -repeat- the nonsense, as you have to to be in the club(cult), but i recall little to no condemnation except after J6 where he acknowledged Trump responsible for the riot (because he definitely was) but not wanting to impeach over it)

"The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people"
~ McConnell stating a fact... (yet like the rest, McConnell never mentioning Trump was continually & obviously lying during the 2 months leading up to J6...)

& that's about it... even when Trump was calling Mitch's wife 'Coco Chow', basically nothing

& has Mitch (or any R), noted 'NO, the Presidential Records Act does NOT say the president can take any & all docs he wants after leaving office'... OBVIOUSLY... (as Trump keeps saying over & over...)

even the ones disgusted by Trump have to remain silent to just stay in the 'party'

Seems like Romney is the only Republican willing to come out and say he will never vote for Trump. Thus risking his future if Trump gets the White House. I believe Trump has publicly stated that he going to have revenge and punish all his enemies. Especially if he gets the Supreme Court to declare him immune from prosecution for any sins committed while he's in Office.

Youre trying to talk sense with bona fide fascists. Not the silly internet troll word fascist which to them only means people who want to stop them from being allowed to walk up to people in the street and say "Hey, Im going to kill your mother, you fucking nigger" and pretend its freedom of speech, but the genuine political term fascist. They lie, they cheat, they have a criminal mindset, they cannot comprehend taking part in honest discussion. Its as pointless as signing a contract with someone who's entire business idea is to break contracts.

McConnell:
"It should come as no surprise that as nominee, [Trump] will have my support"

...the guy who childishly attacks myself & my wife

McConnell comments after J6:
"...They did this because they had been fed wild falsehoods by the most powerful man on Earth — because he was angry he'd lost an election. Former President Trump's actions preceding the riot were a disgraceful dereliction of duty."

...but i'm sure he's totally changed

"...the guy who childishly attacks myself & my wife"

And tried to topple the government, end democracy, and install himself as dictator ... if anyone cares about that sort of thing.

"The GOP can replace him with Kyrsten Sinema."

I guess not. She decided to quit rather than get wrecked at the ballot box.
