The XB-1 vehicle flew from Mojave Air & Space Port in California, reaching an altitude of 7,120 feet (2.2 km) and a maximum speed of 273 mph (439 kph). Member | Sat Mar 23 18:43:55 I'm surprised they got this far, as they have 0 future. The economics of supersonic flight lose pretty badly against layflats. Layflat seats are pretty fucking sweet. Spending a buttload of money to save a few hours but put you back into an economy class seat... just no. |
