kargen Member	Thu Jul 25 15:59:29 4th of July!!! This event is in Alaska. Sun doesn't set so fireworks are out. It is a private pond and all liquids are drained from the cars before the launch. Debris is cleaned after the event is over.

kargen Member	Fri Jul 26 01:20:07 some are launched by a type of sling and some have only a bit of fuel to get them off the cliff. Either way the area is cleaned afterwards and the pond is a stand alone private pond. The forests are not being harmed. Hell the event is taking some old inefficient gas guzzlers off the streets so probably good for the environment.
