More charges probably coming. I'm guessing he had snacks because he was thinking he might have to ride it out a couple of days. The snacks might point to him not actually having information that Trump would be there that day until he actually showed up.

Routh was a peaceful protester protesting how easy Republicans make it for convicted criminals to get hold of assault rifles.
