Harris is just Biden's vice president, a person who claims to play virtually no role in the administration and who has never been the point person for previous natural disasters. Sounds like Harris is the one politicizing this crisis by trying to insert herself into a position she has no business being in.

It's been almost a week where is FEMA has been uttered going back decades. FEMA has never been a first responder agency. That isn't why FEMA was created. Right on their site they tell you to have at least five days of supplies. Local agencies are the immediate responders and FEMA is suppose to supplement their efforts in the aftermath of the initial response. The only thing immediate about FEMA is they allow local agencies to work on credit because FEMA backs the expenditures. Biden did what he was suppose to do when he made landfall funding available just like what happens almost every time. Harris was not involved in any way the previous three years with hurricane relief. She didn't even attend the meetings to prepare for hurricane season that Biden hosted. Not one in more than three years. So why all of a sudden does she want in? Wonder what is different now?
