Utopia Talk / Politics / tumbleweed: Who told you so?

Who told you that those undecided swing state voters would all go for Trump if we tossed Biden overboard?

Who told you that Kamala had no way of making up those losses?

Who told you all those polls showing Biden losing and Harris winning were worthless?

You can't hide forever, tumbleweed. I saw you posting around here earlier.

You were disastrously wrong. Own it!

He's not going to do anything but duck this so he doesn't have to admit that he was wrong.

Bummer! If tumbletard had listened, he would have.. umm.. done the exact same thing since you're both in a cult ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"You were disastrously wrong. Own it!"

you have not nor ever will be able to demonstrate Biden would do exactly the same this time around

it doesn't even make any sense that he would... inflation was the -top- issue that sunk them (& they didn't even try to shift blame)

(+ there was his whole clinging to life problem that got him the boot to begin with... an unfit candidate in a different way is not acceptable either)

You've got to understand, murder, that tumblefag is even deeper into cult dogma that you are. You guys can pretend like the parallels to the Soviets are whimsical all you want, but the entire concept is that Soviet collectivists truly believe only in "The Party". Useful-idiot collectivists really don't see any difference between Biden, Harris, or any other Regime puppet because they intuitively know that it is only The Party that matters. They *fear* the idea of disunity within The Party or a "strong man" that singularly holds special virtues.

You could show tumbletard all the data you want and really itemize how unpopular Harris was with this voting bloc or that voting bloc, but tumbletard's Party agnosia ensures that he will only ever say, "[Biden? Harris? But there is only The Party, comrade!]"

"it doesn't even make any sense that he would... inflation was the -top- issue that sunk them (& they didn't even try to shift blame)"

Of course it was. Just like people voted from Trump because of "economic anxiety" in 2016.

It was bullshit then, and it's bullshit now.

I would not say it changed the outcome here because Trump's victory is pretty convincing, but the US is really not ready for a woman president.

I actually agree, the best thing Biden can do is step down before the term ends. Crack the glass ceiling. Make Trump the 48th president.

Let's try a woman who can hold an unscripted interview and doesn't have four years of policy baggage before jumping to conclusions, m'kay?

"(+ there was his whole clinging to life problem that got him the boot to begin with... an unfit candidate in a different way is not acceptable either)"

Funny how the guy running around shouting "They're eating the dogs!" is fit enough for the electorate.

Kamala underperformed Biden in every way possible because of course she did. Racists were not going to vote for a black or asian candidate. Misogynists were never going to vote for a woman.

Biden is an angry white man, just like those undecided swing state voters. That was the difference.

"Let's try a woman who can hold an unscripted interview and doesn't have four years of policy baggage before jumping to conclusions, m'kay?"

Why should women have to jump through hoops that men don't have to jump through?

The big stupid orange can't do unscripted interviews and has a whole ass decade of policy baggage, and it didn't hurt him at all.

m'kay?

Lol. Trump spent three hours running an unscripted interview on Rogan and folks raved about it.

Kamala wanted to fly him in for a pre-planned one-hour shill session.

When accidentally stumbling into a live screening she had to cover her mouth and warn her lackies.

"policy baggage"

People overwhelmingly look at 2018 in a favorable light over 2023.

[Forwyn]: "Let's try a woman who can hold an unscripted interview and doesn't have four years of policy baggage before jumping to conclusions, m'kay?"

omg how could you say that?
Harris was like.. a role model to little girls who want to grow up to blow gross-looking dudes in exchange for comfortable sinecures in California governance. She was a top-of-the-line classical states-person! A true embodiment of the spirit of Western law! We may never know someone as brat as Harris ever again :'(

And now her watch is ended :'( :( :'(
She will diminish like so many great orators before her, whether that be Cicero, who bravely presented his neck for his executioners, or Cato the Elder, who stirred Great Rome to end the Carthaginian threat! So many great her-stories will go unwritten by this absolute dynamo!

"Why should women have to jump through hoops that men don't have to jump through?"

She initially polled higher than Trump across the board. People gave her the benefit of the doubt.

Then she spent three months reminding people why she tanked her own primary run in 2016.

"She initially polled higher than Trump across the board."

While true, I meant Biden. AKA she polled higher than her male counterpart before she even opened her mouth.

"She initially polled higher than Trump across the board. People gave her the benefit of the doubt."

For the millionth time, polls are bullshit and worthless. Polls swing wildly ... voters preferred candidates do not.

What makes you think that Biden was effectively vetted as a preferred candidate in 2024?

The Democratic primaries were essentially a one-man race, with the only challenger being promptly yeeted into irrelevance and losing his House seat as punishment.

Biden was a poorly vetted candidate in 2020 as well, but back then he represented change during a period of unprecedented upheaval. Four years later, his mental and political deficiencies were well known to the American public.

"What makes you think that Biden was effectively vetted as a preferred candidate in 2024?"

That's not relevant.

This has nothing to do with change and everything to do with having a candidate that is acceptable to swing voters in swing states. Biden won where Hillary and Kamala failed because he was acceptable to the right demographic.

Biden hasn't gotten any less white or any less male. Angry old white guy was the perfect antidote to Trump's angry old white guy appealing to angry white guys routine.

"Four years later, his mental and political deficiencies were well known to the American public."

Trump's mental deficiencies are well known too. It didn't matter. No one cared.

If you don't put forth an alternative candidate that is acceptable to the target demographic, you concede that demographic.

It's hilarious when leftists still say, "[But Trump is mentally deficient too!]" when Biden literally will just freeze like a burnt out Pentium 2 processor and shuffle off stage in the wrong direction.. every single time he appears.. his pupils dilating, confusion and rage swirling around in his empty head, unable to read or speak, struggling to remember stories he's told for 40 years, not sure what to read, being fed the faces, names, and questions of in-the-know "journalists" who have to be gentle with him.. but still failing to convince anyone that his diaper is clean.

Yeah. Both sides, right?

I mean trump is notorious for riffing while making speeches. Dunno what murder is on about.

And tbf, trumps interview with Theo von was a lot better than rogan. On rogan he rambled a lot, on theo he stayed on point. Or relatively anyways.

Both interviews had far more substance than anything kamala pushed out. Even with pre screened questions given to her ahead of time.

murder is on some heavy copium, hoping some DNC-fueled hoax about Trump is enough to compare to Biden shitting his pants and shuffling to the Marine 1 helicopter.

Early days. People age fast at Trump's decrepit age. How we used to make fun of the USSR for their ancient leaders. That union ended soon after the USSR started appointing such people through their own form of electors. Food for thought. Is that inevitably how empires end in the post modern era?
