After researching into the matter to make sure that it is not a rumor, I confirmed that ⁦‪@dr_salman_daya‬⁩ (حفظه الله), an Islamic Scholar in Gaza, "Mufti" of Gaza, has condemned October 7th for it's reckless actions and consequences.

‎Who is the Shaykh?

‎- Dr.Salman Ibn Nasr Ibn Ahmad Al-Dâyah

‎- Born im 1381 H (1962) and raised in Gaza

‎- Bachelors degree from the College of Shari'ah in the Islamic University

‎- Masters degree in Fiqh and Shari'ah from the University of Jordan

‎- PHD in Usool Al-Fiqh from the Islamic University of Omdurman, Sudan.

‎- Dean of the College of Shari'ah at the Islamic University of Gaza

‎- He was the Minister of the Waqf under Hamas

‎- He was the Mufti of Hajj during some years under Hamas

‎- The Shaykh has a history of publishing rulings on Jihad

‎"Research summary: The research dealt with the ruling on jihad against the enemy from an objective perspective, where I explained the reality of jihad in language and terminology, its levels, its legitimacy in preserving the general objectives of the Sharia, its relationship to the objective of the Sharia, its ruling in the case of helplessness and weakness, the conditions for its establishment, and its ruling with a reckless leader .”
