Member | Fri Dec 06 10:56:14 Holy shit! I quit paying attention and figured they'd be long gone by now. They invaded Kursk 4 months ago, and Russia still hasn't been able to expel them. That's amazing. Happy monthiversary to those who celebrate. ;o) |

Member | Fri Dec 06 11:17:48 Putin doesn’t want to carpet bomb the entire area because he cares about the animals that lives in the forested areas where Nato troops are hiding. There are many birds, deers, moose, cats, and bears, for an example. As I said, they can hide but they can not run. If they leave their hideouts in the woods, they will be droned, shot at, shelled, and killed. |

Nothing special about Kursk, so no particular priority given to capturing areas Ukraine holds. It also holds 2% of Russian Luhansk, 37% of Russian Denetsk, and whatever for the two other oblasts Russia annexed. Its one of the reason the whole logic behind "hold on to Kursk for a better negotiating position fails". Ukraine already occupied quite a lot of what Russia thinks it owns. |
