Critics say bystanders stood by while illegal migrant allegedly burned woman to death on NYC subway: ‘Daniel Penny effect’

---

New Yorkers were up in arms Monday one day after an illegal Guatemalan immigrant allegedly burned a sleeping straphanger to death aboard a Brooklyn subway train — while bystanders did nothing.

Horrifying video footage of the incident shows at least three gawkers — one of them seen filming the shocking fatal blaze on his phone — and an NYPD cop standing outside the subway car as flames engulfed the unidentified victim after the Sunday morning attack.

“Nobody came to her aid,” said Guardian Angels founder and community activist Curtis Sliwa. “There’s no doubt that people don’t want to get involved. It’s the Daniel Penny factor. It’s frozen people. They’re saying to themselves: ‘I don’t want to get jammed up like Penny.

“People should have been running over to the woman on fire. They did nothing. They said nothing,” Sliwa said, calling the reluctance of bystanders to intervene “the Daniel Penny effect.”

Penny, a 26-year-old ex-Marine, was charged with murder last year for fatally choking vagrant Jordan Neely after Neely aggressively confronted frightened passengers on a Manhattan subway car.

or how most people always behave... nobody of many intervened before Daniel Penny did either

Or ... people didn't want to get burned.

There's a reason that firefighters are considered heroes. Most people don't want to fuck with fire.

Unless someone was expecting a bystander to rush to the woman on fire and put her in chokehold, I don't see how Penny factors into anything but braindead right wing tripe.

Another day in America. Men set women on fire and Americans stand by to watch and film it with their Apple iphones.

[murder (left-wing dogma bot)]: "people didn't want to get burned."

Those people are called fucking cowards, like yourself. NYC is what happens when cowards and destroyers in positions of power decide that intervention is "fascist". As you similarly proved in the last sebfag thread, simply having borders, enforcing laws to protect your actual citizens, or prosecuting criminals is "fascist" ( http://uto...hread=93608&time=1733665051446 ). This is because anarcho-tyranny is your goal (punishing those who stop criminals and being lenient and "understanding" of criminals), as evil is your nature.

And the "Daniel Penny effect" is just the latest iteration of the bystander effect, which was coined in 1964 with Kitty Genovese, who was raped and murdered for 30 minutes by the black psychopath Winston Moseley in NYC while witnesses ignored her cries for help. Leftists have since tried to pretend that there were not so many witnesses of the Genovese murder as claimed, but we can see from videos such as this subway murder that that is wishful thinking at best. We even have videos of left-wing psychosis victims such as Emma Vigeland who will offer *justifications* for the bystander effect, like that if you just let the psychopath finish what he's doing then you can just go on with your day as though nothing happened.

People being murdered by foreigners and dysgenic freaks is simply the society that the left wants.

I read a more succinct summary of the whole Dabiel Penny situation somewhere:

Daniel Penny acted like a man. And to the progressives in charge of NYC's government, who wholeheartedly despise masculinity and everything it stands for, that was the biggest crime of all.

Burning masculinity out of the citizenry by vigorously punishing anyone who dares showing any seems to be a goal of the left

[Rugian]: "Burning masculinity out of the citizenry by vigorously punishing anyone who dares showing any seems to be a goal of the left"

That's definitely a major short-term goal, but it still has to be reflected onto their racialist strategy. There was another man there who helped Penny restrain Neely, but he was given immunity in exchange for his testimony against Penny. But he is Hispanic, whereas Penny is White.

The leftist Regime is anti-White above all. Opposing masculinity is only done to facilitate anti-Whiteness. When the Bolsheviks purged Kulaks and began seizing the military, they still needed military masculinity for their final power switch. I.e., they will seize masculinity if it serves Bolshevism. A masculine black man killing a White man would be totally fine by the Regime.

Let's not run crazy with the racialism theory. Gonzalez only held the degenerate junkie's arms, there's zero way he could have been prosecuted just for that.

He was an accessory — if they want to be consistent about it. That is indisputable. Either Neely was restrained illegally, resulting in his death, or he was not. Anyone contributing would be liable — if the DA were consistent.

But not only did they not charge this Hispanic man, Eric Gonzalez, but they gave him immunity after he *lied* to them. That would have been an easy case to win: here's this guy who lied to police because he found out he might be liable for a death, he held Neely down, and Neely died. Nearly every argument that they used against Penny now applies to Gonzalez but worse (e.g., claims that the subway car was emptied, that they held too long, that they shouldn't have intervened at all, that it was excessive). The fact that he lied would make an even easier conviction (could be argued as a guilty conscience), but they wanted their "big fish".

Reminder also that DA Alvin Bragg pushed for this case, and he absolutely plays by the Regime's racialist policy. The incentive structure of "racial justice" is to over-prosecute White people and under-prosecute black and brown criminals to achieve "prosecutorial equity". This is literally how they achieve that: any chance to *prosecute* White people they take it, and any chance to *dismiss* charges against brown and black people they take it. It's baked into the cake. White people simply do not commit as many crimes, but the prosecutors *have* to balance their statistics "somehow".

And because this is an incredibly racist/racialist strategy, they have to hire prosecutors who will execute on this evil ideology (in addition to DEI having requirements for prosecutors with an "oppressed" status). That's likely why prosecutor and jewish lesbian Dafna Yoran was hired. She admitted in a "restorative justice" seminar that she was motivated by ethnic resentment since she feels that "nobody was ever held accountable" for the Holobunga. She literally admits this:
http://x.com/CherubCow/status/1865816764140941593/

So NYC has
• an anti-White DEI policy at the level of governance (CRT as applied law doctrine),
• an anti-White and pro-criminal policing policy that restrains police in interventions,
• an anti-White DA, Alvin Bragg, pushing this policy, and
• an anti-White prosecutor, Dafna Yoran, executing Bragg's policy

If the city fails to prosecute an innocent White man, then they have to fudge their numbers in other ways (e.g., let even more of their black and brown criminals go). Additionally, if Penny is not responsible, then they have to blame police (by their own flawed reasoning; e.g., this logic was used against Officer Chauvin), which means that they are not hitting their "community policing" metrics and are liable for millions should the families find the police liable for Neely's death.

Basically, "systemic racism" was not an actual thing until leftists gained power and made it real — against White people.

You know what? I'm just going to disengage here. I can't whip myself into an angry state over having to rebut the same points we get every time about the Omnicause. Especially on Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas CC. Luke 2:14.
