Utopia Talk / Politics / GOP Sen. slams ‘lame duck’ hostage deal
murder
Member | Wed Jan 15 10:40:14 GOP senator slams ‘lame duck Joe Biden’ hostage deal that Trump envoy is working to finalize Republican Sen. Tom Cotton blasts the brewing hostage deal between Israel and Hamas, claiming that outgoing US President Joe Biden is trying to force Israel into signing it, even though President-elect Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff is in Qatar working with the parties in order to secure the agreement that the hawkish lawmaker is criticizing. “Why is lame duck Joe Biden trying to cram down a bad deal on Israel on his way out the door?” Cotton tweets. “The only ‘deal’ should be unconditional surrender by Hamas—which is already nearly destroyed—and return of ALL hostages. Instead, we hear reports that Biden is demanding that Israel withdraw from key terrain in Gaza, release dozens of hardened terrorists for every one hostage, and get back only SOME hostages?” It was Witkoff, not a Biden official, who flew to Israel on Saturday and pressured Netanyahu to accept the compromises necessary for a deal, two officials familiar told The Times of Israel earlier this week. “Here’s the deal’ to offer Hamas and its patron, Iran: you have five days to release ALL the hostages or we ‘unleash hell,'” Cotton adds, referring to the threat Trump has made to Hamas if the hostages aren’t released by January 20. http://www...-envoy-is-working-to-finalize/ |

Member | Wed Jan 15 12:23:33 The absolute destruction of Hamas should be the objective. Screw those overly generous hostage deals where the terrorists get 1,000:1 consideration for every captive released. |

Member | Wed Jan 15 12:27:08 "During the initial phase of the cease-fire, Hamas has agreed to release 33 hostages in exchange for Israel freeing hundreds of Palestinians imprisoned in jails." http://nyp...fter-15-months-of-war-reports/ Yeah, FUCK this deal. Every single one of those Palestinians should be summarily executed, not released back into the wild. |

Israel has also compromised and agreed to withdraw from the so-called Netzarim Corridor that had blocked off access to northern Gaza, with IDF troops set to leave the area by the 22nd day of the cease-fire. The deal would allow more than a million displaced Palestinians to return to their homes, most of which have been destroyed by the intense fighting. The agreement also calls for humanitarian aid deliveries to increase across Gaza with hundreds of new trucks carrying food, medicine, fuel, and other supplies to ease the humanitarian crisis. Should the first phase be completed, Hamas and Israel will continue the cease-fire to negotiate the terms to release all the remaining living hostages in exchange for Israel’s complete withdrawal from Gaza. Should Israel and Hamas reach an agreement on the second phase, the war will end with the bodies of the remaining hostages returned in exchange for a three- to five-year reconstruction plan to rebuild Gaza."" http://nyp...fter-15-months-of-war-reports/ Who negotiated this "deal" on Israel's behalf? The ayatollah? Weak, weak, weak, weak, weak. |

the wanderer | Wed Jan 15 13:51:56 counterpoint: "This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November...<yadda yadda>" & i'm sure he was intimately involved & knows all the details (& that his contribution wasn't just shouting on fake Twitter) (he also has "WE HAVE A DEAL FOR THE HOSTAGES IN THE MIDDLE EAST. THEY WILL BE RELEASED SHORTLY. THANK YOU!"... which is false, as is his way) |

Member | Wed Jan 15 15:03:17 It won't matter though. The alt right and the general left will never trust the jew. It's a simple historical fact. For fucks sake they claim death camps didn't exist and that we need to provide them proof they did. Despite the American military purposely documenting all of it in order to not allow people to claim it never happened. "They are just pictures". Israel got its pound of flesh. Took out hezbollah leadership, bombed Iran, curb stomped hamas. That's as much of a victory as Israel could realistically hope for. |

Member | Wed Jan 15 20:36:22 Israel never learns. They will never have peace as long as they have terrorists living next to them. They should have finished the job. |

Member | Thu Jan 16 01:23:45 Genocidal Nazi terrorists will never have peace as long they occupy, steal, oppress and murder another people. Just look at the German Nazis, they did not get to live in peace either. If the genocidal Nazi terrorists are concerned and if americans loves them so much, the americans should make room for the Nazi terrorists in their own shitty country. You all can be Nazis together and maybe live in peace there. |

iChihuaha | Thu Jan 16 02:56:30 This is without a doubt Israel yielding a strategic point to Hamas. I will reserve judgment for now on the overall outcome as that is yet to happen in full with all the details. I am also wondering what the plan is regarding Islamic republic and their nuclear infrastructure. We do not know what deal Trump is making with Israel. With that said, if Hamas remains in control of Gaza, the same condition I mentioned last year is valid, the Israel project is dead. |
