murder
Member | Sun Jan 26 09:29:56 Lets take the pulse of UPers with regards to Trump's future actions. Greenland: 1. Will Trump successfully coerce Denmark/Greenland into selling Greenland to the US? 2. Will Trump take Greenland by force if coercion fails? Canada: 1. Will Trump subjugate Canada by coercion? 2. Will Trump take Canada by force if coercion fails? Panama: 1. Will Trump successfully coerce Panama into selling the canal to the US? 2. Will Trump take the canal by force if coercion fails? - |

Member | Sun Jan 26 09:44:34 My opinion ... Greenland: 1. Trump will try but fail to coerce Denmark/Greeland into a sale. 2. He will not take Greenland by force. >> Trump will use the threat of sanctions and force to coerce greater access for the US military, and then declare himself the greatest dealmaker in history. Canada: 1. He will try but fail to subjugate Canada by coercion. 2. He will not take Canada by force. >> Trump will use the threat of sanctions and force to secure a more favorable trade deal with Canada, and then declare himself the greatest dealmaker in history. Panama: 1. Trump will try but fail to coerce Panama into selling the canal. 2. Trump will not take the canal by force. >> Trump will use the threat of sanctions and force to secure more favorable access and rates for US shipping through the canal, and possibly "joint security" of the canal, and then declare himself the greatest dealmaker in history. - |

the wanderer | Sun Jan 26 11:21:09 mostly agree w/ murder... though w/ Canada, no reason the USMCA(NAFTA) renegotiations have to become more favorable for Trump to then declare it the greatest ever, that will happen no matter what similar w/ Panama, i doubt he'll get lower rates but he'll declare huge victory about something (he's starting w/ the lie that they are charging us more than others, & that Chinese troops are controlling it, so not hard to have a victory when those things that are not happening are no longer happening) on Greenland, we may negotiate for more access, they aren't opposed to that to begin with... but Trump obviously declares great victory... & the R cult fails to admit the whole motivation is climate change -obviously- occurring |

Member | Sun Jan 26 11:27:05 Greenland: Neither. The people of Greenland, who are desperate to gain their freedom and join in union with their American brothers, will spontaneously rise up against their colonial overlords and voluntarily petition us to annex them. Canada: Option 2. The invasion of Canada will be successfully concluded in less time than it took the Nazis to conquer Denmark (thanks for taking away everyone's guns Trudeau LOL) Panama: Option 1. Because they'll see what happened to Canada and realize that Trump is a legit gangster who isn't fucking around. |

Member | Sun Jan 26 11:47:01 I feel like this poll is kind of lacking though. Anyone who believes that Trump's imperial ambitions will end with just these three places is deluding themselves. We need to think bigger. Mexico? Australia? The UK? The Philippines? Japan? Taiwan? South Korea? Cuba? Saudi Arabia? Imagine if we can convince Europe that the only way the migrant crisis can be stopped is if they accept direct American rule. Maybe there's a reason why Elon is making inroads with the AfD :o |

Mexico, the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia, are out because Trump is trying to rid the US of colored people. Adding more is not an option. Australia is too far away, and the UK would be too tough to take by force. |

Member | Sun Jan 26 12:05:01 Murder Trump is interested in expanding America's territory. Not so its population. You see what I'm saying? ;) |

Member | Sun Jan 26 12:13:48 Incidentally, the mass deportations of illegal immigrants are going to give the government valuable experience and practice for the compulsory movement of large population bodies that may not want to voluntarily leave. I wonder how else that experience could be put to good use :) |

Member | Mon Jan 27 12:56:55 Denmark, one of the most inoffensive Western allies one can imagine, reinforces its defence around Greenland by 20 billion DKK and stations 3 new battleships there after reaching the unbelievable conclusion that they must prepare to defend themselves against the USA. Because Trump hates war and international intervention. http://www...det-direkt?pinnedEntry=1329086 |

Member | Mon Jan 27 13:02:35 Since the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish governments have sat in meetings all weekend at the Danish PMs private residence, its pretty obvious that theyre preparing plans for Scandinavia to defend Greenland against a US attack. Ah, peaceful MAGA |

Member | Mon Jan 27 13:22:05 "Battleships", whatever the fuck that means as it relates to the Danish navy, are not going to do them any good. They'd get swept aside. They need special forces in Greenland to teach the locals how to bleed US forces. |

Member | Mon Jan 27 13:24:53 Its quite obviously not the only thing going on, just the most visible stuff. Obviously, if they invade Greenland, its not just Scandinavia out of the entire EU thats sitting in secret talks right now. |

Member | Mon Jan 27 13:26:03 "to teach the locals how to bleed US forces." for the first time, the Danish army is actively recruiting residents on Greenland. |

Member | Mon Jan 27 13:28:20 Well damn, Greenland only has about 60,000 people living there, scattered around. I think the largest town has a population of less than 5K. Easy target for that great military tactician Generalissimo Trusk. Who knows more than all the Generals about warfare than all the Generals in the USA. He'll probably just impose a 25% tariff on all Greenland exports to the USA. After he takes over Greenland. Let's look around for some more targets that really might require a platoon of battle hardened troops led by a very qualified platoon leader. Like Pete Hegseth. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. The only requirements would be that the targets should have no real chance of being able to defend themselves. |

Member | Mon Jan 27 13:29:30 Should it get to that stage, I'd be happy to kill as many Magas as possible before my time comes. |

Member | Mon Jan 27 15:19:25 Of course, in that scenario, we'll also need to start dealing with the Maga trojan horses in our midst, i.e. Alpha Boi and his foul species of Nazi pestilence. Traitorous trojan horses like him tend to meet with unceremonious fates in times of war. |

Member | Mon Jan 27 16:10:54 It would be wild if trump gets Greenland. The funny thing is liberals are freaking about it isn't outside the realm of possibility that trump will somehow make Greenland the 51st state. Mother fucker might do it. And Panama belongs to us. There is a reason Carter, fuck that he is, had that agreement go through long after he was put of office. |

Member | Mon Jan 27 17:09:10 It’s amusing seeing the sudden dismay on the faces of the far right pro-Trump Danish party at the face-eating Maga leopards, though. With friends like Maga, you dont need enemies |
