Rugian Member	Thu Mar 20 05:05:56 CHARLESTON, S.C. — Daniel Clarke-Pounder, 24, of James Island has been arrested on criminal charges related to an arson at a North Charleston Tesla charging station. The complaint alleges that on March 7, the North Charleston Police Department and North Charleston Fire Department responded to a Tesla charging station on Tanger Outlet Boulevard to reports of an arson. Witnesses reported that a man spray painted in red paint, “F*ck Trump” and “Long Live Ukraine” in a Tesla charging station parking spot. The man then pulled out five incendiary explosive devices, commonly known as Molotov cocktails, and threw them at the Tesla chargers, damaging the chargers. Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated the arson and identified a defendant, Daniel Clarke-Pounder. He was arrested last night and arraigned this afternoon in federal court. Clarke-Pounder faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison. Cooper Jo Frederick, a Fort Collins resident, is facing multiple felony charges in connection with the incident on March 7. The Loveland Police Department said Frederick ignited an incendiary device and threw it at the Loveland Tesla building, where it landed between two vehicles. Authorities said several people were inside cleaning the building at the time. The responding officer put out the fire, and no injuries were reported. Loveland police said the building and several vehicles were also damaged by thrown rocks. Frederick was arrested Thursday and booked into the Larimer County Jail. He is facing charges of: -Explosive or incendiary devices use during felony -Possession of explosive or incendiary devices -Second-degree arson -Criminal mischief -Criminal attempt to commit a class 5 or 6 felony This attack was the most recent in a string of acts of vandalism at the Loveland Tesla dealership. Lucy Grace Nelson is facing charges in connection with a separate incident at the dealership on Feb. 27. Vandalism against Tesla dealerships, charging stations and vehicles has continued to increase across the country in protest of Tesla CEO Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency. The department has cut thousands of jobs as part of its initiative to scale back the size of the federal government. Tesla's stock prices plummeted in the wake of blowback against DOGE's actions. (KPTV/Gray News) - A man in Oregon was arrested for possessing Molotov cocktails and attempting to destroy property at a Tesla dealership, according to the Department of Justice. Officials said 41-year-old Adam Matthew Lansky has been charged by criminal complaint with illegally possessing an unregistered destructive device. According to court documents, officers from the Salem Police Department responded on Jan. 20 to a report of someone throwing Molotov cocktails at a car dealership. Officers returned to the same dealership on Feb. 19 after damage from what appeared to be bullets fired into a building and vehicle was reported. Investigators said they soon linked Lansky to both incidents. Surveillance video obtained from the car dealership appeared to show Lansky throwing Molotov cocktails that struck a dealership building and several vehicles, causing fires to start. Surveillance video from a patrol car captured a vehicle parked near the dealership while Lansky is alleged to have discharged multiple firearm rounds into a building and at least one vehicle. Investigators learned the vehicle was registered to Lansky and saw it at his residence. Police arrested Lansky Tuesday without incident in Salem. He appeared in federal court Wednesday before a U.S. magistrate judge. He was ordered to be held in jail pending further court proceedings.
