President Donald Trump suggested that the United States could join the British Commonwealth on Friday in a post to Truth Social, his social media platform.

The president shared an article from British tabloid The Sun reporting that King Charles III was making a "secret offer" to the White House, and that plans are in process for the U.S. to become an associate member of the international organization.

"I Love King Charles. Sounds good to me!" Trump wrote in response to the report.

P Charles is still in the world 8 years ago, where all you had to do was flatter Trump with the simplest ruses. He hasnt realized that Trump now is so in love with himself and thinks he is the most important human that has ever existed that he probably goes to bed thinking "Heh, it would be kinda cool if the world ended when I die. Thing is Charles can't just invite the US to join. Nor is there study a thing as associate member.

Joining requires an application and unanimity of current members. I can't see Canada approving.

I would not brush this off based on it being a joke, the whole Trump presidency was a joke that got out of hand.
