We've known for a while now the USA was funding the research. We also know it was released from the lab in China.
Probably released on purpose by China at the 2019 Wuhan Military Games. A release at those games explains why outbreaks started world wide in cities with military bases that had personnel attend those games.
So you didn't tell us anything we haven't know for a few years now.

Whether it leaked by mistake from a lab doing research on various bird flues is another matter. I doubt that too, but at least thats feasible and not fetched from a Marvel movie

Interestingly, I see that West Point Military Academy published a study that claims that while few states have any interest in bio weapons these days due to their unpredictability and impracticality compared to other weapons, and also the fact that bio attacks are considered an act of terrorism today and thus are more likely to provoke aggressive counter-responses, the fact that there is now a large population that refuses to vaccinate themselves could make terrorist groups more inclined to use them.

nope we all now know it was released from a lab in China. It was a US funded lab but it was either Chinese incompetence or deviancy that facilitated the release.
Sure the US is somewhat responsible because we assumed that China wouldn't fuck things up. Not sure why that assumption was made as China tends to eventually fuck everything all up.
