And for those Americans (and American wannabe Canadians) who think this unthinkable; here's an article by Chatham House advocating cutting US logistics (refusal to allow ships to refuel etc.) if the threats continue. Let alone what happens if you actually invade.

Pulling US troops isn't likely to be a big lever.

The only troops in Europe are there for the benefit of the US, not Europe.

When Greenland has been transitioned to the USA, what should Trump rename the island to?

1. Trumpland
2. Daddyland (in reference to Rutte calling Trump daddy)
3. Whiteland
4. New Epstein Island

We already have the ability to use it for defense purposes.
