Let alone what happens if you actually invade. https://ww...ean-countries-are-not-helpless |

rank | Mon Jan 12 18:15:27 The US had better leverage than full on invasion.....like pulling our troops. Now what is it that we really want? Strategic resources. IDK why we can't come to some reasonable agreement. I am reminded of of the words of Chappelle http://youtu.be/ACx8dcV7CPg?si=GVr3gSMC6TU6SGpe |

rank | Mon Jan 12 22:10:14 lol NATO chief on Greenland: "This is not a crisis" NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is now taking the matter to task and when asked if this is a crisis within the alliance, he says: "No, not at all, we are going in the right direction." https://ww...m-gronland-detta-ar-ingen-kris Yup. Everything is going according to plan. |

rank | Mon Jan 12 23:31:56 When Greenland has been transitioned to the USA, what should Trump rename the island to? 1. Trumpland 2. Daddyland (in reference to Rutte calling Trump daddy) 3. Whiteland 4. New Epstein Island ? |

rank | Tue Jan 13 15:28:35 So apparently the entire administration is now on board with this crusade. ---- Burgum: Europeans should be ‘cheering’ for US to annex Greenland by Ryan Mancini - 01/09/26 3:09 PM ET Interior Secretary Doug Burgum on Thursday said Europeans should be “cheering” for President Trump’s plan for the U.S. to acquire Greenland from Denmark. “Greenland is critical to the national security of the United States. It’s critical to European security,” Burgum told “Rob Schmitt Tonight” on Newsmax. “Europeans should be cheering that the U.S. wants to get involved there and provide that kind of protection, and of course, again, in Interior, we manage all of our territories around the world, our affiliated states.” “We manage land from Guam to the U.S. Virgin Islands, over 14 time zones,” he continued. “We have all of the ability to take on that responsibility, and again, it would be a win for all democracies in the world if the U.S. was exerting more authority there.” The former North Dakota governor argued that Greenland would serve a similar role as Alaska does with Russia in proximity “and all of their adventurism around the Arctic.” Burgum said the island “is the opposite end of the bookend.” “This is critical,” he added. Host Rob Schmitt asked if the U.S. could take Greenland and if it could happen soon. “I think it’s great,” Burgum replied. “We’re working for the greatest dealmaker that’s ever been president. Anything is possible with this president.” The Interior chief added, “And again, he is A+ on everything he’s executing on strategy abroad that helps bring prosperity at home.” Burgum compared Greenland to Alaska again, saying that the U.S. bought its 49th state “for $15 million and that turned out to be a great bargain. Buying Greenland for $5 billion could be a great deal too.” https://th...s-trump-greenland-acquisition/ |

rank | Tue Jan 13 16:57:18 Americans are stupid. European security means self determination, not being annexed by a hostile authoritarian state. |

rank | Tue Jan 13 16:59:10 Further, the Arctic states closely monitor Russian and Chinese activity and that's not where they are active. Finally, US control off Greenland could be used to cut Europe off from trade with China in future. Allowing the US to control the territory is a direct threat to European security. |
