jergul rank	Mon Feb 02 16:11:59 It does not follow that morality automatically changes legality, nor does it follow that a moral obligation should give unfettered access. Norway is only partially on stolen land in any event as habitation has been consistent by the same peoples since the glacial retreat allowed for inhabitants. You might see it better with jewish refugee ships fleeing Nazis. You have the legal right to refuse them, but not the moral right. Its why the legal code is moderated somewhat to allow for clear-cut moral obligations. I would take Elish to mean that accomodation when possible should be made and while migrants might be outside of the legal framework, they are firmly within the moral one. They have every right to seek a better future in the same manner your forfathers did.
