rank | Wed Mar 11 22:42:24 Major war occuring, straits of hormuz closed... ... The royal navy barely has a single light ship or 2 to deploy, with basically the entire fleet(or what was left of one) aground in a nightmare mix of dei/low IQ/de-industrialized red tape. Lmfao. Imagine going from Nelson and Churchill to this in just a few generations. https://x.com/TBrit90/status/2031774129846620525 |

rank | Wed Mar 11 23:24:02 The Straight is not closed. Iran has shipped more oil through the straight than it did before the war. It is just closed to some loser countries :). |

rank | Wed Mar 11 23:26:40 Where is your shock and awe military from GW1 sammy. Speaking of losing things due to sammy incompetence. For sammy have a chokehold on military, political and economic power still. |

rank | Thu Mar 12 00:06:16 Rugian its probably days until the ship is ready to sail, possibly days since last return. Lol jergul didn't you just say your leaders were hiding in bunkers after harping on your air defense ability? |

rank | Thu Mar 12 00:11:32 Or from British news if you prefer. France has just humiliated the Royal Navy without firing a shot – here’s how Together, the French Navy has 19 out of its 21 major surface vessels at sea or preparing for operations – by contrast, the UK is still struggling to deploy one. https://ww...yprus-hms-dragon-b2935608.html Also lol at what euros consider a "major" vessel. |

rank | Thu Mar 12 00:24:28 I was 100 m from one of its heliships. Drove by not far from Narvik about a week ago. Practice landings. A few days later 4 helis from the Mistral class in low combat formation flew back and forth over the house. They were using the valley for low altitude penetration training I wager. Interesting, though the cat was displeased with the house vibrating. |

rank | Thu Mar 12 00:25:39 Iran is still the only country shipping oil from the gulf. Why is that sammy? Rofl. |

rank | Thu Mar 12 17:04:38 Just got an email about a UK aircraft weather research program getting cancelled. Basically the UK is saying "we are poor and what little money we do have we are going to spend trying to buy votes from migrants, so we can no longer afford modern science" Lol. |

rank | Thu Mar 12 18:43:37 fuckhead told them we don't need help (March 7th): "The UK, our once Great Ally, maybe the Greatest of them all, is finally giving serious thought to sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East. That’s OK, Prime Minister Starmer, we don’t need them any longer — But we will remember. We don’t need people that join Wars after we’ve already won! 'President' DONALD J. TRUMP" |

rank | Thu Mar 12 19:12:45 Trump is a retard, but that has no bearing on how the UK has a single working ship, and a baby at that. |
|
tumbleweed
rank | Thu Mar 12 19:40:49 well the aircraft carriers would be the Queen Elizabeth & Prince of Wales so they must be in deployable condition (if Trump not lying that Starmer offered (not a safe bet)... & Starmer not lying that he was considering it) (& i have no idea if that chart in OP is accurate or the full meaning of the entries) |

rank | Thu Mar 12 20:01:55 UK newspapers seem think neither carrier is fit to put to sea, and their has been almost no rumors of such a thing. Unlike the French de gaul... Rumors were all over the place on that thing. Ultimately these are all light carriers of mediocre importance, but the fact that the French navy is finally better than the RN is hilarious. |

rank | Fri Mar 13 00:54:37 NaMBLA: The fact that a couple of months ago your president and cabinet lined up to mock UK deaths in the last American middle east war might have something to do with the UK having very little interest in breaking current maintenance cycles and deployment plans to rush to help out the US. It's politically toxic. There's no need to break current plans and maintenance schedules just because America decided to blow up the global oil trade. Let Americans die and bare the cost. Our defence spending needs to go to Ukraine to fight the real enemy; not wasted mee tooing the Americans. And if the French want to curry favour with the gulf states, let them. UK right wing papers get more ad revenue from US clicks, they have over the last five years diverged dramatically from reflecting UK Popular opinion. That's why the conservatives ran into the ground and why reform are too: they are chasing coverage from media outfits whose editorial line is increasingly tailored to getting clicks from maga idiots like you; not the people actually eligible to vote in the UK. |

rank | Fri Mar 13 00:58:54 Tumbleweed: Lizzy is in low readiness having just returned from deployment. PoW is at high readiness with 5 day notice. They could rush her out, but also there's absolutely no real interest in the UK population to go spend blood and treasure to help the US out after your president shat all over our war dead in Iraq and Afghanistan. Let Americans bare the cost and the casualties. You guys fucked it. Not our problem. |
