So, similarly to how "bankruptcy" has drastically dofferent meanings and conotations in the US than Europe.

US= A way to get a clean slate and not pay excessive debt.

EU=A way to keep working and paying off your debt, literally until its paid off.

I seen this short YT video on what middle class means.

US it's very literal and tied soley to your income/money.

UK even wealthy lawyers/bankers with no inherited titles or such can still be called middle class.

How many arguments on here have been mistepresented by the same words meaning different things to different ppl?

Youre as wrong about this as you are with all that weird nonsense about healthcare that I stopped reading because it was so divorced from reality.

Wealthy lawyers etc are called UPPER middle class. We also have just a middle class, a lowe middle class, a working class and aristocracy.

However, in the US, the working class like to call themselves themiddle class because it makes them feel less poor

Oh, and we also have the "upper class".
So: Aristocracy/upper class (upper class meaning you may not have an aristocratic title but youre as rich as them), upper middle class, middle class, lower middle class, working class. and in some cases the underclass (unemployed, homeless etc)

Yeah I'm the one divorced from the reality of MY OWN HEALTH INSURANCE....which I literally cited the plan coverage.

This is how WTB sort of sees the US....except that also the guy gets a cold so he loses his house and car, and is arrested where he dies because the cold medicine just cost too much.

You need to learn to spot the massive telegraph pole in your own eye before talking about the splinter in other peoples eyes

Just under half of U.S. adults say it is difficult to afford health care costs, and about three in ten say they or a family member in their household had problems paying for health care in the past 12 months.

About one-third (36%) of adults say that in the past 12 months they have skipped or postponed getting health care they needed because of the cost.

About two-thirds of adults say they are either “very worried” (32%) or “somewhat worried” (34%) about being able to afford the cost of health care for themselves and their families.

...and on and on and on, and meanwhile I personally know one guy who killed himelf because of medical costs and another guy who received a bill for EUR 13k for 6 hours hospital for his sick kid. But none of this exists because it apparently hasnt happened to Habebe. You live in a dreamworld

"Roughly one-third of Americans cut back on food, utilities or other daily expenses to pay for healthcare last year,"

Thats just unheard of in the entire developed world and lots of places in the undeveloped world too

Here is a good definition of middle class. You have paid for violin/piano lessons for more than two years for your offspring.
