murder
rank | Sat Mar 28 15:41:04 The Houthis have now entered the chat. They fired a missile at Israel. The greater concern is if they attack the Saudi port on the Red Sea where oil is being diverted, or if the close the Red Sea to shipping again. - |

rank | Sat Mar 28 15:53:55 You just have to nuke israel |

rank | Sat Mar 28 16:34:59 Its rediculous how clearly Iran is signalling escalation ladders and applying measured pressure while Israel and the US are being magic 8 balls. It is clear who the adult in the room is at least. |

rank | Sat Mar 28 16:45:47 Pillz is correct. |

rank | Sat Mar 28 16:51:28 What Iran should do is offer the US a cut of the new transit fees in the Gulf. The war would end tomorrow. |

rank | Sat Mar 28 16:53:41 I hate how much enjoyment you're getting out of this. |

rank | Sat Mar 28 17:11:21 Am I wrong about offering the US a cut to end the war? |

rank | Sat Mar 28 18:54:25 This was always going to happen. It would have been much worse if we waited. Gotta get rid of the ayatolas once and for all. |

rank | Wed Apr 01 13:50:59 Trump signalling that the war will end soon. If you ignore the deployment of airborne troops, two Marine MEUs, and possibly a 3rd carrier to the gulf region. - |

Paramount
rank | Wed Apr 01 14:19:21 Pretending to negotiate / pretending he will stop the attacks. We have seen that this is when the US escalates and makes a sneak attack. |

rank | Wed Apr 01 14:37:30 The most dangerous part with Trump is when you start to reach agreements in negotiations. You know thats when the bombers are starting to take off. |

rank | Wed Apr 01 14:58:40 Its always been very important to stick to agreements with adversaries. It doesnt matter how much The FBI might want to strap someone down in the chair and fry him - if theyve agreed to witness protection instead, they'll stick to it. Because all similar future situations will depend on the criminal knowing that if the FBI says thay, they will at least vaguely stick to it. Trumps guinness book of records dishonesty, of course, completel fucks that up, so Iran knows that if they eventually agree that "we'll withdraw our troops if you withdraw yours", they cannot possibly withdraw a single boot until they actually see US boots leaving. Trusting any agreement with Trump would be suicidal naivity. |

murder
rank | Wed Apr 01 15:37:51 Even if they see us leaving, we will return as soon as we've restocked enough missiles. Just like we did this time after the last time. It may pause, but it's not going to stop until Congress or the people stop Trump. - |

rank | Wed Apr 01 15:41:11 I was speaking metaphorically. Lterally speaking, it probably means that no matter how happily they all sign an agreement for Iran to not pursue nuclear weapons in return for XXX, they should continue to purse them as hard as they can, since you cant trust Trump's XXX for a nanosecond. |

rank | Wed Apr 01 15:50:07 If I was Iran dealing with any other US president in history, agreeing to remove all the mines Ive placed in the strait in return for XXX would mean that I would remove them. If I was Iran dealing with Trump, I would have zero choice but to play his game - which means cheating and playing the game without any rules at all. I might well agree to remove the mines, but there is no way I would dare to, more than some symbolic photo op stuff. That is how Trump forces people to deal with him, because anyone sticking to the rules of a card game with an infamous cheater is a fool. |

rank | Wed Apr 01 16:13:41 Hmm, the US has used 850 tomahawks in Iran. Neato. That is 1/3rd of the total inventory. It can produce 600 a year max on current production lines at full capacity. |
|
murder
rank | Wed Apr 01 17:44:59 I think 850 was days ago. Probably around 1000 now. - |
|
murder
rank | Wed Apr 01 17:47:02 Then again, it's likely that their use has dropped after the first few days of the war, so maybe ~ 900. - |
