rank | Sat Mar 28 23:23:16 So to recap what our government has been (simultaneously) saying: - We already won the war. - We're winning the war. - We may need ground troops to win the war. - Americans just need to buy fewer Starbucks coffees to offset the higher cost of gas while we win the war. - We need our allies to help us win the war. - We need no allies to win the war. - We are negotiating a peace settlement with the Iran government so that we may win the war at the diplomatic table. - We are winning the war so hard that there is no one left in the Iranian government to negotiate with us. - It's not a war at all (but only because Congress will get mad if we call it a war). I think I'm starting to get tired of winning. |

rank | Sun Mar 29 03:05:51 Trump makes up things. Isn't told the whole picture, forgets sometimes(he's not as bad as Biden) and sometimes correctly lies on purpose to confuse the enemy. Overall it's retarded but there are some benefits. The guys running the fighting seem to have had a consistent strategy at least. Just not the clowns talking about it. |

rank | Sun Mar 29 12:36:59 Are these consistent strategies in the room with us right now? |

rank | Sun Mar 29 13:12:30 "he's not as bad as Biden" Such cope. He's a lot worse than Biden, very obviously so. "The guys running the fighting seem to have had a consistent strategy at least." What is the overall objective then? Regime change? Permanent end to their nuclear program? You are completely delusional. The best that can be said is that the military have a well prepared tactical playbook to degrade the Iranian military. That's not a strategy though. |

rank | Sun Mar 29 17:58:55 Seb you dumbtard that line was clearly a reference to bidens obvious dimensia. Can you not read at all? "Regime change? Permanent end to their nuclear program?" Both. Obviously regime change is the best outcome but failing that we have many lesser goals that are still important. How do you not understand this? |

rank | Sun Mar 29 19:21:33 NaMBLA: Lol. I know. But Trump has a lot of the symptoms of frontaltemporal lobe dementia. "Both. Obviously regime change is the best outcome but failing that we have many lesser goals that are still important." Ok, if this is the excellent strategy for achieving that, walk me through it. Bomb shit... A miracle happens... regime change. |

rank | Sun Mar 29 20:18:19 Bombing shit is redundant if you are praying for a miracle. You could have prayed for that without diminishing your stature and potential. |

rank | Sun Mar 29 20:27:14 It seems odd to bet so heavily on China, NK, or Russia not backfilling Iranian capabilities. Congrats, you walked into the same trap Russia did in 2022. Lets see if the jaws snap shut. |

rank | Sun Mar 29 21:16:05 We have been over this jergul. Your Russian and no shit is nearly useless. There is no evidence China is helping. |

rank | Sun Mar 29 21:27:00 Rofl. Russia produces 6000 Geran-2 and 2500 decoy versions of the Geran-2 a month. Never mind everything else. You would have to leave the Middle East. |

rank | Sun Mar 29 22:57:16 Just like Ukraine had to leave kiev? Lol soviet minds are hilarious. |

rank | Mon Mar 30 00:56:01 *Whatever* the administration's strategy is, they need to stay fully committed to it now. If Trump proceeds to TACO, the message will be sent to the entire world that the greatest military superpower in existence can be defeated simply by making the S&P 500 slide by 10%. But they also need to get the Strait re-opened ASAP. The markets have been sliding more due to the *expectatation* of supply shocks than to any actual disruptions. Those might start to ramp in the next couple of weeks and could seriously fuck up the entire West's economy for years. The fact that they had no plan to keep the Strait open before they commenced hostilities could potentially down in history as one of the greatest military blunders ever. At least if the global supply chain doesn't get fixed soon. |

rank | Mon Mar 30 01:04:09 Half of the US' GDP growth these days is reliant on AI and datacenters, and now we're barreling right towards a global energy crisis. Like holy shit. 10% slide may be nothing by the end of this. |

rank | Mon Mar 30 01:16:36 "The fact that they had no plan to keep the Strait open” We do not have the ability to keep the straits open initially. Gotta supress the coastal installations first. "and now we're barreling right towards a global energy crisis." Nah. Very little of our energy goes through the straits. SA has its backup lines going representing a third of the straits already, and the UAE has lesser lines. The straits have been closed for a month and oil costs are still less than they were during the Biden inflation years. Itll be a hit to global economy but a minor one. |

rank | Mon Mar 30 01:17:38 By our energy I mean the us. The biggest recipients of strait oil are China and india. |
