Sam, The problem as I see it is that, bombing the shit out of them doesn't achieve our goals.

1. Its expensive, the US military has the problem other militaries have had, all our shit is too expensive, Japan I seen is making kamikaze style drones from waterproof cardboard for $2k with 3 lb payloads....our loss isn't thr same as Irans, how long can we do this and afford it.

2. In order to control the straight so Iran can't toll it at $2mill a pop, we likley will need boots onnthe ground and sizeable naval presence indefinitely.

3. Straight regime change while that would be great, even with a divided populace would probably require more presence than it's worth.
