We have entered an era where the following will likely continue to increase indefinitely:

* Increased climate problems, leading to:
* Increased migration flows, leading to:
* Increase in far right tribalism and retreating behind shuttered windows and bars, leading to
* conflict, violence and division within nations.
* Increase in unemployment due mainly to increase in automated production, leading to
* Increase in poverty, conflict, deterioration in quality of life, decrease in lifespan and health.

Oh, much more, but all of the above seems to be happening or about to happen simultaneously.

So you solve this by

1) banning most migration
2) some sort of control where robot manufacturers don't get all the income.

On topic. All those things are policies of choice. We could as easily chose to all live doing artisan projects for each other as mass production necessities are automated to free everyone to live the lives they find meaningful. #peakmaslov

We ran that experiment in 2020. Turns out that when you give people an abundance of free time, most of them spend it binge-watching reality shows and other trash TV.

Ruggy, that was not the experiment run. There was an epidemic, see and we were not sure how it would play out. So we did a lock down and forced people to stay at home.
