Sure, no problem - cept he cant drive a manual car. I was shocked because nobody in Europe that has a driving licence can only drive automatic cars, but he told me this was quite common in the US. Googling also seemed to confirm that. Also, Google says that the US has by far more car accidents per capita than European countries. Watching an American on Youtube who took a European licence because he cant drive manual cars and he says his american driving test and traffic rules knowledge was a joke in comparison. He says they need to give licences to everyone in the USA, almost irrespective of how bad they drive, because acceptable public transport doesnt exist and so every American is fucked without a car. Oh, Im shocked.

But ya the US needs to work on road safety. Fortunately we generally relegate the deaths to poor people in little cars but still there's some obvious work that needs to be done.

So when crashes happen there, they are far more destructive. Europeans don't spend nearly as much time traveling at those types of speeds.

You know, modern technology that even US plebs can afford. The primitiveness of the manual transmission is even more outdated as everyone with even a little money is buying fancy EVs that don't even have transmissions. The US is a large place with a huge variety of driving skill. Boston drivers are better than anyone in Europe. Seattle drivers are the worst on the entire fucking planet(except asian women of course). The biggest problem in the US is road design. We have a lot of high speed roads that intersect with other high speed roads and most retarded of all, the undivided 70 mph rural road, which is insanely stupid.

The intersection issue is hard to solve. The undivided issue is pure idiocy on the part of road designers.
