China has net outflow of people, always has since 1950 when they started documenting that. And I looked into a bit, because I figured some people would argue, China makes it difficult to immigrate....its more than that, no one except maybe you WANTS to immigrate to China. When people are asked where they WANT to move its the US, EU, canada, Australia. If China was really a utopia, people would WANT to go, the reality by hard numbers are people are fleeing.

I already covered "they dont want ppl to immigrate" they are facing the sharpest major demographic shock of any modern major nation. Far more severe than Japans. Which was the original issue. Now it matters into the demographics issue, but thats really another whole can of worms. Thats not merely how old the populatuon is, Japan IIRC is one of then oldest populations in the world, but it wasnt as sharp of a switch.. .also they became on par with western nations before they grew old.
