Jason Arday: Police investigated journalist who questioned professor

Met officers spent four months looking into claim of harassment after inquiries were made to the academic who is caught up in a plagiarism scandal

http://www...e-glasgow-university-6nl2kxnjh

Lulz. They can't investigate Paki rape gangs but have enough resources to waste on journalists asking legitimate questions.

"On Tuesday two universities where Arday claimed to have been a visiting professor denied he ever held the title, while Cambridge removed a reference to one of his degrees from his staff page.

Arday is understood to have hired the law firm Carter-Ruck in response to inquiries by the Times Higher Education (THE) reporter, Jack Grove. The law firm claimed in a letter to THE that the “apparent attack” on Arday “may be … racially motivated”."

"Arday has also been accused of exaggerating parts of his life, including claims that he ran 600 miles in six days and raised more than £5 million for charity.

Arday told The Times that he did not raise all the money but was part of a syndicate of about 100 people, adding that he accepted “responsibility that I could have been really, really explicit” in correcting the narrative that it was all his doing.

On Monday the WaterAid charity cast doubt on claims Arday had made about “installing water points” in South America and west Africa, saying that it never sent volunteers abroad.

Arday has been contacted for comment."

Jergul why would you say something so stupid? The existence of trump justifies this negros cheating and lieing?

It does move the bar if that is what you mean. Who cares about small time corruption against the backdrop of massive, systemic corruption. Congratz, you have normalized dishonesty. Hardly a shocker, I know.

On the details here. Probably some ultra-right wing witch hunt making mountains out of molehills. An inflated CV to make a person look good. So unheard of.

Lol. I think we know why all modern tech comes from the US and to a lesser extent China/Japan/Korea/Israel.

It's not really the socialism. That's just another symptom.

Euros are simply retarded. There's nothing that can be done with this level of IQ.

Dummy, your ignorance is not a shield. You have half the patents of Denmark per capita.

Ah yes Denmark, hallmark of inovation and industry. I think I will charge up my danish electric truck with that danish nuclear power power plant, and then drive to catch my flight on that danish jet while playing on my danish smartphone.

Point being Danes are smarter than Americans by a huge margin by the criteria you chose. The reason Norway scores lower is mostly because patent developers opt for registering EU or American patents instead of a national one for natural reasons. Norway is a very small market.

Sammy: "The US has way more patents than Denmark. This proves the average american is way smarter than the average dane"

Do you know how stupid you have to be to double down on that like you have?

Dummy, I will give you the benefit of the doubt and think that you just did not understand what you said.

US very innovative, not like very low IQ Europe. IQ is a measure of average intelligence. A V E R A G E

Patents per capita is a measure of A V E R A G E Innovation.

You conflated a much larger population base with the average person's capabilities. A stupid thing to do. You might as well have said that the sum of all IQ points in the US is much higher than the sum of all IQ points in Denmark. For that is the level of you not understanding, well, anything at all really.

"Dummy, your ignorance is not a shield. You have half the patents of Denmark per capita."

Your own link states why this is a retarded metric:

"Patent data often reflects where intellectual property is registered rather than where innovation actually occurs.

Multinational companies frequently shift patents across borders to benefit from tax advantages, royalty structures, or legal protections.

As a result, countries with favorable IP regimes can appear disproportionately strong in per-capita rankings, even if much of the underlying innovation originates elsewhere."
