rank | Wed Aug 05 00:46:32 Jason Arday: Police investigated journalist who questioned professor Met officers spent four months looking into claim of harassment after inquiries were made to the academic who is caught up in a plagiarism scandal http://www...e-glasgow-university-6nl2kxnjh Lulz. They can't investigate Paki rape gangs but have enough resources to waste on journalists asking legitimate questions. "On Tuesday two universities where Arday claimed to have been a visiting professor denied he ever held the title, while Cambridge removed a reference to one of his degrees from his staff page. Arday is understood to have hired the law firm Carter-Ruck in response to inquiries by the Times Higher Education (THE) reporter, Jack Grove. The law firm claimed in a letter to THE that the “apparent attack” on Arday “may be … racially motivated”." "Arday has also been accused of exaggerating parts of his life, including claims that he ran 600 miles in six days and raised more than £5 million for charity. Arday told The Times that he did not raise all the money but was part of a syndicate of about 100 people, adding that he accepted “responsibility that I could have been really, really explicit” in correcting the narrative that it was all his doing. On Monday the WaterAid charity cast doubt on claims Arday had made about “installing water points” in South America and west Africa, saying that it never sent volunteers abroad. Arday has been contacted for comment." Lulz. |

rank | Wed Aug 05 05:59:09 Projection. You have Trump, his media support and his subversion of various departments for vindictive purposes. Then get all waaah every time you see skin pigments. |

Sam Adams
rank | Wed Aug 05 06:00:36 Jergul why would you say something so stupid? The existence of trump justifies this negros cheating and lieing? |

jergul
rank | Wed Aug 05 07:04:41 It does move the bar if that is what you mean. Who cares about small time corruption against the backdrop of massive, systemic corruption. Congratz, you have normalized dishonesty. Hardly a shocker, I know. On the details here. Probably some ultra-right wing witch hunt making mountains out of molehills. An inflated CV to make a person look good. So unheard of. |

Sam Adams
rank | Wed Aug 05 09:17:33 Lol. I think we know why all modern tech comes from the US and to a lesser extent China/Japan/Korea/Israel. It's not really the socialism. That's just another symptom. Euros are simply retarded. There's nothing that can be done with this level of IQ. |

jergul
rank | Wed Aug 05 09:44:28 Dummy, your ignorance is not a shield. You have half the patents of Denmark per capita. https://ww...-countries-patents-per-capita/ |

jergul

|
jergul
rank | Wed Aug 05 10:49:27 Point being Danes are smarter than Americans by a huge margin by the criteria you chose. The reason Norway scores lower is mostly because patent developers opt for registering EU or American patents instead of a national one for natural reasons. Norway is a very small market. |
|
jergul
rank | Wed Aug 05 10:52:16 Sammy: "The US has way more patents than Denmark. This proves the average american is way smarter than the average dane" Do you know how stupid you have to be to double down on that like you have? |

jergul
rank | Wed Aug 05 11:12:04 Dummy, I will give you the benefit of the doubt and think that you just did not understand what you said. US very innovative, not like very low IQ Europe. IQ is a measure of average intelligence. A V E R A G E Patents per capita is a measure of A V E R A G E Innovation. You conflated a much larger population base with the average person's capabilities. A stupid thing to do. You might as well have said that the sum of all IQ points in the US is much higher than the sum of all IQ points in Denmark. For that is the level of you not understanding, well, anything at all really. |

rank | Thu Aug 06 00:23:46 http://goodlawproject.org/an-update-from-jason-arday/ He resigned. Lulz. jergul rank Wed Aug 05 09:44:28 "Dummy, your ignorance is not a shield. You have half the patents of Denmark per capita." Your own link states why this is a retarded metric: "Patent data often reflects where intellectual property is registered rather than where innovation actually occurs. Multinational companies frequently shift patents across borders to benefit from tax advantages, royalty structures, or legal protections. As a result, countries with favorable IP regimes can appear disproportionately strong in per-capita rankings, even if much of the underlying innovation originates elsewhere." |

Sam Adams
rank | Thu Aug 06 07:15:25 Lmfao@jergul But watch out... havard might try to hire this guy now |
|
jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 07:17:54 RM Hence me comparing the US to Denmark and not Monaco. The US has a favourable IP regime due to market size. An IP there protects a lot of value, so the US patent level is inflateed. |
|
jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 10:11:02 so any bias in patent registry favours the US* |
|
Sam Adams
rank | Thu Aug 06 10:39:16 Patents.... Lmfao. Seriously. I love how euros out themselves as incompetent. Do you know how many parents I have? I dunno myself I've lost count. It's retarded bureaucrat tracking as far as anyone with brains is concerned. It's like 0.1% of my value to the company/industry. Patents in complex tech 1) don't teach you how to do anything 2) don't stop anyone from copying you It's just a waste of time to feed lawyers and other such weasles |
|
Sam Adams
rank | Thu Aug 06 10:40:42 Parents=patents duh. |
|
jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 10:55:29 The number of patents you have is zero. |

jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 11:04:48 Its like you don't understand anything ever. You may have copywrited code that corporate lawyers will stamp out as fast as they can. Patents are a whole other kettle of fish, even in the US. In Norway, a patent application alone has a 5k USD fee and has to meet many criteria before it will be approved. Most are not. So there is copywrite, there is trademarks, and there are patents. Learn the difference. And you are still dumb. All you are arguing is that the sum of IQ points in the US is larger than the sum of IQ points in Denmark. Well, yes. You have more people. It does not make you smarter or more innovative on average. We know that for a fact. Check out who is your president. |

jergul

jergul

|
jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 11:15:08 AA He certainly is now after sitting in the trough for two terms. You next one will probably be even richer now that the precedent has been set. |
|
Sam Adams
rank | Thu Aug 06 13:21:24 By getting butthurt about my patents you prove how out of touch you are(but we already knew that lol). They really are quite worthless. None of my coolest or most valuable work is patented - duh, and what is patented isn't particularly fun - some of it is a complete dead end. The patents havn't stopped rivals from copying us, so I'm not sure why we do it. Probably to justify the existence of some bureaucrat somewhere or because a lawyer thinks there's a 0.1% chance we will avoid a lawsuit if we have one. Maybe someone thinks it will waste the time of competition since a good chunk are completely worthless ideas. But no competent competition would spare even the first glance at our patents so that's silly. I do get a bit of $$ for each one so it's not totally a waste of my time, most of the application is done by secretaries anyway. But once the application is in and I get my cash the fact that something is patented or not has never come up in the real world. Not once. You either can do the thing or you can't. A government piece of paper saying you might be able to is worth nothing. The fact that you think patents matter... Lol. |
|
jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 13:45:52 Are your patents in the room with you right now? I dont believe you in principle and also in detail. Your company may own the copywrite of some material you have worked on little drone. You have nothing. You are just butthurt because most countries have demonstratably more innovative people than the US. Dummy, look at how your democracy works and tell me with a straight face you think you are the smartest people in the world. Lulz. Dummy. |
|
jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 13:50:44 Here is scientific publications. Here the US comes in at 1/3rd of Denmark per capita, dovetailing nicely with what we know already from patents. https://en...and_technical_journal_articles |
|
jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 13:52:06 You know you are dumb as a population, dummy. |
|
Sam Adams
rank | Thu Aug 06 15:49:10 Ohhh I was wondering when journal articals were going to make an appearance in jerguls butthurt rantings. I've got a number of those too. Those are almost as worthless as patents. Lmfao@jergul |
|
jergul
rank | Thu Aug 06 16:06:09 Dummy the published scholar. Lulz. Unbelievable. Literally. Or were you talking about letters to playboy. Your opinion on the publication value is quite useless. As is your opinion on the value of patents. Now lets see your opinion on the value of engineers per capita as a placeholder for innovation competence. In this case, Denmark has 5 times the employed engineers you do. So, you offered the opinion that Americans are way smarter than Danes citing innovation. I offered 3 metrics that show that Americans are dumb as loaves of bread comparatively speaking. 4 Metrics if you look at what dummy's white elite race chose to elect as president. GG Sammy. That means you lose. Rofl. |

williamthebastard
rank | Thu Aug 06 17:44:14 Thats just so unfair to sammy the superman. Remember, he exchanged his cock for a clitoris and his manly barrel of a hairy chest for perky boobs so he could afford a car. Thats some sacrifice. Have you ever made a sacrifice like that?? |

rank | Fri Aug 07 00:34:53 jergul rank Thu Aug 06 07:17:54 "RM Hence me comparing the US to Denmark and not Monaco. The US has a favourable IP regime due to market size. An IP there protects a lot of value, so the US patent level is inflateed." Where applications are filed is not indicative of where innovation occurs. You are using a bad metric. Different countries have different processes for granting patents, different costs, etc. jergul rank Thu Aug 06 11:04:48 "In Norway, a patent application alone has a 5k USD fee and has to meet many criteria before it will be approved. Most are not." No. The fees charged by the patent office are much lower than that: http://www.dkpto.org/about-ip-rights/prices-and-fees If you are adding on fees for attorneys, you still will not get close to $5K. Most patents in Denmark result from European - not Danish - applications. "AI Overview Precise official figures for the exact percentage of Danish national patents that are validations of European Patent Office (EPO) grants are not centrally published as a fixed real-time ratio by the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO). However, like most medium-to-small European contracting states, the vast majority of foreign and a high share of domestic commercial patent protection in Denmark-reaching upwards of 80% to 90% of active high-value patent rights-operates via regional European patent validation rather than purely domestic first-instance national filings." Allowance rate data does not seem to be publicly available but wouldn't tell us anything anyway because of the EPO issue above. |
