Ohio Republican congressman released audio denying drug use after wife said she found needles by his bed

Transcripts show Miller's account shifted between denying any needles existed and denying he placed one there, while a key claim in his lawyers' summary doesn't match the recording.

WTF is it with MAGA and testosterone replacement?

Max Miller is 37 years old for god's sake.

Do you all just not feel like men?

All these supposed alpha males, in reality, appear to be low-T.

I mean, if you're looking for an honest answer:

----

Research shows that men today have lower testosterone levels than past generations, independent of normal aging. Studies like the Massachusetts Male Aging Study indicate a secular downward trend, meaning a young man today has a measurably lower testosterone level than a man of the same age did in the 1980s or 1990s.

Key Causes of the Generational Decline

-Obesity & Metabolism: Higher rates of body fat convert testosterone into estrogen via the aromatase enzyme.

-Sedentary Habits: Less physical labor and more desk-bound, screen-heavy lifestyles lower natural hormone production.

-Chemical Exposure: Widespread endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) like plastics and phthalates interfere with hormone systems.

-Sleep & Stress: Chronic sleep deprivation and high daily stress elevate cortisol, which directly suppresses testosterone.

Potential Impacts

-Reduced energy and strength

-Lower sperm counts and fertility issues

-Increased risk of metabolic syndrome and diabetes

Lol, its really only happening in the US, apparently.
US men literally have lower testosterone than EU men on average and are less masculine at the hormonal level.

ROFL!

-Obesity & Metabolism: == Murcan fast food
-Sedentary Habits + Sleep & Stress: 30 minute lunchbreaks, no vacations

A country that makes it impossible to survive without a car - often literally no sidewalks between residential areas and shopping areas, for example - needs to be added into the sedentary habits category

USA
* Evidence of testosterone decline: Strongest evidence; multiple studies show a secular decline.
* Obesity prevalence: High (~50% of adults).
* Type 2 diabetes/metabolic disease: Higher prevalence.
* Physical activity: Lower on average.
* Diet pattern: Higher intake of ultra-processed foods and higher calorie consumption.
* Sleep/work patterns: More sleep deprivation and longer work hours on average.
* Likely lifestyle-related testosterone pressure: Highest.

Sweden
* Evidence of testosterone decline: Limited direct evidence.
* Obesity prevalence: Lower (~15% of adults).
* Type 2 diabetes/metabolic disease: Lower than the USA.
* Physical activity: Relatively high.
* Diet pattern: Generally healthier than the USA.
* Sleep/work patterns: Generally better work–life balance.
* Likely lifestyle-related testosterone pressure: Lower than the USA.

France
* Evidence of testosterone decline: Limited direct evidence.
* Obesity prevalence: Lower (~17% of adults).
* Type 2 diabetes/metabolic disease: Lower than the USA.
* Physical activity: Moderate.
* Diet pattern: Generally healthier than the USA, with more traditional dietary patterns.
* Sleep/work patterns: Generally better than the USA, though variable.
* Likely lifestyle-related testosterone pressure: Lower than the USA.

Overall expected ranking of lifestyle-related testosterone pressure:
1. USA — highest pressure
2. France / Sweden — lower pressure

"I mean, if you're looking for an honest answer:"

That doesn't explain why it's always MAGA males.

It must say something that the guys who are obsessed with their manliness are all low-T ... or at least feel that they are.

Murder:

Come on, everything about the US right culture war policies boils down to a mass crisis in masculinity.

That's been obvious for years, it's just getting increasingly shriller.

It's become a circular firing squad of people desperate to assert they are men putting eachother down to assert their own manliness and so feeding eachothers insecurity; while a whole ecosystem of grifters and businesses compete to exploit and monetize it. Like slapping the word tactical on medical PPE and making it in camo because admitting you could get sick is coded weak and effeminate, but military aesthetics and pretending its about maintaining battle fitness gives it a more masculine vibe. It's not sun block, it's anti-uv survival camo for use in the field. Ooorah.

And of course this anxiety is all dressed up in a hilariously shoddy ideological framework of family values, traditional jobs, civilisational decline nonsense.

Because otherwise these issues can be seen for what they are: a bunch of insecure man-children - afraid of women with economic power and agency and being embarrassed in front of their male peers by one. Afraid of foreign men wanting to get a job to send remittance home (or fleeing persecution) might appear manlier than them who are then described as "military age men, invaders, and rapists".

But it's more like a chunk of society never grew up and remained stuck in that awkward pubescent phase boys go through where there really worried about if their peers think they are gay.

It is desperately, desperately sad and pathetic. A complete collapse in self confidence and self reliance into collective circle jerk of very obvious craving for external affirmation.

Kindness and generosity used to be considered a peak male virtue, but those require self-assuredness. So these hollow, anxious men have tried to rebrand it a vice: suicidal empathy.

Given an effect of long term testosterone treatment is testicular atrophy (your body reacts to high levels by stopping natural production) - I would not be surprised if cosmetic inserts become a thing to go along with this trend.
