...about the judicial "doctrine" of originalism is an overriding objective and intent - explicitly so - of the founding fathers in the constitution was exactly to prevent someone like Trump doing exactly what Trump has done.

The whole of American society has failed, when you get down to it. Voters, media, legislature, judiciary, executive... just utterly broken.

The US was designed for an electorate only made up of relatively educated male landowners.

I don't think any system can survive allowing plebs to vote.

Unlimited democracy does not work with the current human IQ distribution.
