Lindsay Clancy is such a Palestinian. She strangled a bunch of babies, proclaimed herself the victim, and got all the leftists cheering for her.

Notice that there is zero debate over why a verdict has not been reached. Everyone on both sides seems to universally agree that the three men are in the guilty camp and at least some of the nine women are in the not guilty camp and neither will budge.

Repeal the 19th, and bar them from certain civic service, too.

Or just dissolve the Union and let the States make their own choices. Ending democracy in the US seems either a bit harsh, or a bit too lenient.

Why should you two dummies have a vote, or anyone for that matter? May as well just repeal the sufferage entirely and let the electoral college choose directly with states choosing the electors any way they like.

We had democratic representation before the 19th, and will have democratic representation after.

But sure, if CA and NY want to continue their retarded trajectory, let them.

Wrong dummy. It was called a Republic for a reason. You became a democracy in 1965 give or take.

Ya, unlimited democracy doesn't work.

Break down your country to the size the founding fathers intended at about 5 million per entity.

Ooh I missed this thread. Yeah women don't belong on juries. This should have been the most straightforward guilty verdict in history...but instead, the whole retarded "my body my choice" crowd has now extended their philosophy to legalizing abortions up to the 23rd trimester.

The trial was always about this.

Maybe take mental health a bit more seriously?

Why would you care if she goes to a psyc ward instead of prison anyway?

===========

The problem here is not if the law is applicable, but that you don't like the law. Well, vote in your state elections and petition your state representative to remove the law.

Clancy attempted to get the help she needed many times. That to me is a key factor.

"Why would you care if she goes to a psyc ward instead of prison anyway?"

I'd prefer she not go to prison. She deserves the death penalty.

Or are you actually defending someone who strangles her three little children to death, one by one? I'd just like to give you the opportunity to step back for a sec and consider the position you're in danger of taking.

She should be painlessly euthenized if she is that mentally ill. It's for her own good. Even if she could be made well, imagine coming to and realizing what she had done. She would have to kill herself at that point. So just get it over with.

More importantly: There's no sane society where she would ever be trusted. Let a kid killer out from a left wing incompetent psychobabble institution? Imagine her moving next to you. As a sane father you'd have to shoot her on the spot.

The rule of law. If you have insanity clauses, then they provide a lawful defence.

You seem to get that with stand your ground legislation when Japanese students get killed.

The case boils down to if the defence can prove that the woman was incapacitated by mental illness to a degree that meets the legal threshold.

It seems that enough jurors were convinced this is the case.

Get rid of hung jury rules or professionalize the juries if you think being judge by peers is problematic.

In the meantime, you have the system that you have.

Frankly, the procecution fucked up. It used its time proving she killed the children when that fact was uncontested. The reasoning no doubt to sway the jury by facts in the hopes that feeling would counter the insanity defence.

A long shot? I dunno. 25% of insanity plea defences are successful statistically speaking (Insanity pleas are made in 1% of criminal trials overall). But the proof is in the pudding. It does not look like there will be a conviction.

There is also the element that the prosecution overcharged. A manslaughter charge covers the fact that she did kill the children, but without the intent to do so in a legal sense.

The judge instructed the jury to consider a manslaughter conviction.

The problem of course is that it may be too late. Innocent by virtue of insanity also applies to manslaughter. So if jury members are convinced of that defence at this point, then it would be hard to backtrack to manslaughter.

Every fact of her behavior is evidence against psychosis. Everyone understands this except retarded pink-wearing women.
