Sam Hyde's "Fish Tank" reality show is live as of April 18th:
http://www.fishtank.live/

Intro explanation:
[April 13th, 2023]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6T0VG-F4vI

General concept is that Hyde found the most autistic, gullible, and/or deranged social media addicts he could find and is putting them in a house with no Internet for 6 weeks with the last remaining person being the "winner". They'll face random challenges and psy-ops, and users of the above live link can view and listen to pretty much any place in the house. Some users have referred to it as basically "Big Brother" controlled by Jigsaw.

4chan obsessing about it here:
http://boards.4channel.org/tv/thread/183185320
A popular contestant is Josie, likely because she's autistic, antisocial, a terminal introvert, and an anime-addict.

An anon summarizes the contestants:
>Violetta
House thot, enjoys competing in IQ challenges and riding Vance dick. Horse Cock enthusiast
>Simmons
Improv and harmonica specialist. From China, China.
>Sylvia
Tulsa Queen. Fat. Likes all kinds of music.
>Vance
Chad who avoids pussy at all costs. Power level depends on whether he is sitting or not
>Josie
Sperg after our own farts. Deep knowledge of animal husbandry. Mexican.
>Mauro
Most likely to fuck. Respects the Virgin Mary. Will likely eat a fellow competitor
>Damiel
FUCK. Sorry. Most likely to sperg out.
>Jonathan
Watched the stweam. Awived with sam hyde. Comes equipped with a bible, yet is not a Chwistian. Simply a fowwerer of Cwist

Hyde is also posting random updates and reTweeting from here:

Should have some interesting developments ;p

lol.
People thought that Google cracked down on Hyde's stream, but he's claiming this:
"False alarm. Turns out the hosting cost is $30k every THREE DAYS not every month and my bank account is drained!
Will restore ASSAP but this might take til Monday.
@elonmusk
can I hold a couple hundred thousand for a sec"
http://twitter.com/wigger/status/1649210120289566720

• People were apparently able to track down Damiel's socials and find connections to friends of Hyde, so they suspect that he's a plant.
• There was a section of the day where Hyde revealed that 7 of the main donors for the text-to-speak were trying to sway the outcome of the Sunday pick, so they may be clamping down on the intercom texting.
• Jon got in trouble for snitching, so they denied him his prize for having a close guess in the rice count and made him sleep on the floor for the night.

Hilarious moment from the show:
"Goldstriker comforts Letty (Fishtank.live - Day 6)"
[Rocky Stream; April 23rd, 2023]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bqV1MTwv1Q

Goldstriker (Sam) walks upstairs panting while putting on boxing gloves, asks Simmons to leave him alone in an upstairs bedroom with the tiny Violetta, stands between her and the door, pretends to give her a pep talk while pushing her things onto the floor, makes it even more threatening by closing the door, lies to her about how many viewers liked her comedy skit in the previous segment, finishes the pep talk, then insists that she not help him open the door while he struggles with the boxing gloves on the door knob. XD

The semi-frightening physical intimidation while being very charismatic is just an amazing thing to behold knowing that he's doing this on purpose for the cameras :D

Damiel as a plant seems pretty much confirmed as of day 7:
"Damiel having fun on his phone (Fishtank.live - Day 7)"
[Rocky Stream; April 24th, 2023]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnJr6-1Gmac

Aside from obvious connections to the crew, he's done completely outlandish things previously, such as jumping on the kitchen counter to make monkey sounds and pretend to poop in people's food (very uncharacteristic compared to the general autistic gen-Z vibe), so adding this cell phone usage on top is almost obvious fan service. He was then removed by a shark (silent, masked, and padded show-runners who lurk the house), brought to the basement, and returned in the night as a shark to play a prank on Jon.

Outside-the-show autists also tracked down the Fish Tank address, so the house was SWATted (day 5?), at which point all contestants temporarily had cell access to contact their families. Jon, apparently, used the opportunity to find out that Damiel had show connections, then he told everyone once the show re-started. This caused Goldstriker to start referring to Jon as a snitch.

This might introduce another element though: whether or not Damiel was a plant, his being brought back as a shark means that it's *possible* that removed contestants simply return as sharks to troll the remaining contestants.

No more Jontent :(
Jon seems to have been eliminated:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjrlSOj_UeU

We'll see if he'll be brought back as a shark tonight, but Goldstriker's tone seems to be that Jon will legit be going home.

Damiel's temporary shark status may have just been a trial period to demonstrate loyalty.. and when Damiel was first brought back, it was basically just Goldstriker *saying* that Damiel isn't a plant (i.e., "we investigated ourselves and found no wrong-doing"). Earlier in day 16, Jet (red shark) also made a point of producing an I.D. badge [from Damiel's bag or planted there?] that lists Damiel as an "VIP"/"actor" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WwQEr9xzAk ). This is a weird move since people already suspected it, so showing the badge has extra gaslighting attached to it (i.e., the show-runners may be doing this to the audience to get the audience to gaslight the house with text-to-audio).

Aside from Jon, only Simmons and Mauro have gone.
• Simmons left because he was implicated in a book with pedo tones ("implicated" only because it's not clear how old Simmons was when he wrote it, and the autist researchers that found it may have taken things out of context — he was definitely weird, though, and he said almost nothing in defense of himself, so I don't disbelieve the claims, I just haven't seen this "book".)
• Mauro left directly after Simmons because he was weirded out to have spent so much time with a creepy weirdo.

So, really, this would make Jon the first actual elimination (i.e., not a quit or a/an DQ/ejection) in the show's so-far 16 days, but 5 of 8 contestants remain with 4 remaining weeks planned. This elimination means that Josie is the show favorite, especially after it was revealed that she's traditional and likely a virgin, but Sylvia recently showed that she's based regarding gender roles and Vance is considered the most chad-like option in the mix.

Letty is generally disliked (people say she looks like the female serial killer type), though she has people defending her on Twitter by saying that the claims that she's an Only Fans girl were falsified and that the video(s) of her floating around are basically revenge porn. Others in the house know her real name (Nina something?) from a prescription bottle and from various information slips. I wouldn't look into that to check, but, more importantly, it's not clear if this show means to reward people for becoming less autistic or for just winning events. If it's pure strategy, then Letty seems to be the most devious of the bunch.

Quick note:
Fishtank has been pretending that they want to get rid of Vance, so they added a character named "Lance" a couple days ago, who looks 90% like Vance but has an Australian accent. lol

This opens up a doppelgänger angle to the psy-ops. They already sort of produced Simmons' doppelgänger with this weird guy that they're calling Simon (who looks about 90% like Simmons but is even trashier).

The question is whether or not they'll keep doing it. The "become a shark" was a one-off for Damiel, so that theory fell through. Doppelgänger seems like a more likely angle of weirding out the contestants, but they did not do this for Jon or Mauro. It could be a logistics issue, like they couldn't find and hire lookalikes for everyone, or it could just be that doing it too much would give the contestants too much mental stability ;D

Another elimination is supposed to happen today/tomorrow, so this will potentially be a time for the pattern to be confirmed.

I said this in a YouTube comment, but it's a good thing they didn't have any OCD people because the house is absolutely trashed right now and it only got worse with this "camping" challenge causing all the furniture to end up in the garage and preventing anyone from showering. Ben of the production crew seems like the most affected by the filth, lol. He complained about people not cleaning up after using the cookware and instead just asked people to cook for him last night so that he wouldn't have to see how the sausage is made ;D

Damiel freaked out and left the show, supposedly because his wife is giving birth soon or gave birth. The in-show story is that Jet told Damiel that she gave birth at the beginning of day 20, which precipitated Damiel's freakout, but since Damiel is a plant, it's probably just psy-ops.

This followed a strategy by Vance and Letty to steal personal items from everyone to find some leverage over the camp (since simply being appointed counselors had no real effect). Damiel couldn't find his shoes so he dumped a lot of Letty's possessions/makeup into their makeshift outhouse.

Sylvia also raged out because her items had been taken (just a sex doll dressed in some of her clothes), which was silly since they were apparently just downstairs. She was seen crying in her room later.

Josie's plushies were taken too, and she appeared in the bathroom cam (not what it sounds like; it's an interview room where they can talk to the audience) to express some apparently sincere sadness, since she may genuinely be appreciative that viewers seem to like her enough to gift her plushies (she has an entire pile at this point). People have pointed out that she had been pretty depressed in real life before this and volunteered because she thought it would help her get out of herself.. that fragility may be creeping in.

There was also a drinking challenge at midnight which resulted in a total trashing of the downstairs area. It looks like it happened slowly over a few hours. Rocky Stream did a montage:

One of the joke features the producers of FishTank have added is that people can pay to have the producers yell at Letty. This allows the producers to get paid to do what they love to do already.

Doppelgänger sub-plot confirmed!!

"BETTY THE LETTY CLONE (Fishtank.live - Day 30)"
[May 17th, 2023]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3c6IoXMwvJo
(that is, Letty just got her Doppelgänger)

So that means that so far..

(Original -> Doppelgänger)
Letty -> Betty
Simmons -> Simon
Vance -> Lance
Josie -> Ella

(Not yet?)
Sylvia -> [Chris?]
Mauro -> [Also Chris?]
Damiel -> [Frank Hassle?]
Jonathan -> [?]

Josie's "Ella" Doppelgänger might be a stretch, but Ella was a definite fidget-type. The spin between Original to Doppelgänger was that Ella was fidgety because she was likely a drug addict (lulz). She had to leave after a few days likely because she was going through withdrawals.

But, if Ella was *not* Josie's Doppelgänger.. which would make sense since the names aren't similar as they have been with the others.. then Josie's clone may be on standby.

Still, three makes a pattern.

There was also a surprise visit by Mauro on Day 29/30. He had just pretended on Twitter that he was leaving social media because he was getting too much negative attention, but that was a ruse to make his visit a surprise ( https://twitter.com/Maurocanoh/status/1658196944370700288 and https://twitter.com/Maurocanoh/status/1658535854196035586 ). He revealed a lot of outside information to the group, but it was straight gaslighting. E.g., he claimed that he picked up 80,000 new followers on Instagram, but he currently has 3,000 ( https://www.instagram.com/maurocanoh/ ). Another is that he claimed to have done three news interviews including one on CNN, but that's definitely not a thing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTbT1-VfaUo
A comment on YT points out, "Mauro is the best guy to Gaslight because no one expects it from him"

Another funny thing today was that someone sent a Shark Attack on Josie just before bed, which resulted in a shark just straight pouring a bag of sugar in her hair:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRUdP299ncM
Looks like she had to take another shower and change her sheets, but there's a pile of sugar in the shag-carpet. Again: very lucky that no one involved had OCD ;D

FishTank is narrowing down on the end.
The show was estimated at 42 days, and this is now day 37.
Three fish remain: Letty, Vance, and Josie. Sylvia was eliminated last week.

The last few days were absolutely brutal.
Biggest highlights:

• Big soiling event a few days ago where everyone was covered in food for pretty much the entire day. Letty seems to have gotten it the worst, which is visible at the end of this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eemj5DKc7GE

• Letty and Chris have to stay bound to each other by the wrist for Letty to get immunity. Chris, who is obese and has extreme mobility issues, makes Letty go to the toilet with him several times during this event.

• At the same time, Josie and Lance have to keep their feet moving while bound to each other by a chair. Lance is given a handicap initially, having what looked like a 10-pound weight attached to his ankle which injured him as he tried to dislodge it in the first hour. He and Josie are covered with gross-looking food and look absolutely miserable.

Josie and Lance kept this up for about *6* hours (I think it was more, but autists claim 6). The stop was very sudden: Vance slips on a plastic bag while walking backwards and turning, and he wipes out.
Josie felt very guilty about it, and Vance was extremely disappointed in himself. Emotions were heightened here because they were visibly exhausted after doing this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xn7MYJAO3hs

And then today's developments:
• Chris was instructed to bother Letty more, but things get switched up on him when a cup of gross food combinations that he was planning to pour onto Letty's clothes is instead used by Letty on Chris' clothes. Chris then seems to break character, since he charges Letty and spits in her face. He's not usually a good actor, so being enraged seemed legit here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xuwummfhuts
Frank Hassle was spitting a lot too, but his gimmick was generally to spit near or on peoples' feet. Goldstriker tried to put a stop to bodily fluid and human waste pranks after Hassle crossed some lines and the camping event got disgusting, but some grey areas were left in place.

• And a few hours ago, Goldstriker announced that Letty had won:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tBe5bN-s2w
But, it seems to be more gas-lighting. The joke they were making may have been that they have to make Letty the "winner" because otherwise she'll sue them after Chris' assault and the constant mistreatment.

Less than an hour later, they combined this "winner" moment with gaslighting about how the show is broke and failing (again), which was a segue to a claim that YouTuber/Streamer Dr. Disrespect had secretly entered the house to evaluate it as an investment, had purchased a 51% stake, had insisted on a joke about the show ending and Letty being the winner, and said that whoever brings Chris to climax wins. As "evidence" of this massive new funding, they give the caste a few McDonald's items (lol):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgoGayLeNT0

Goldstriker even gas-lit this further on Twitter by Re-Tweeting a Dr. Disrespect Tweet which describes a "multi-million-dollar deal":
http://twitter.com/DrDisrespect/status/1660097566745456640

Goldstriker also gaslights Letty about winning for "real", saying that even if she "wins" he's not going to pay her:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nibcoJw9m_8
And a funny comment by Jet and Sam from this one, while saying that Dr. Disrespect is a fan of FishTank, which is a gift to have from a CEO:
"Is the Kroger CEO a fan of the milk that he sells? No."

Some comments recently have been saying that Goldstriker would just award the contestants 35 thousand "doll hairs" instead of dollars, but Goldstriker specifically said early in the show (in a non gas-lit moment) that the "Fish bucks" and the grand prize would be real.

The FishTank fans also frequently gaslight each other, and that has brought people to Dr. Disrespect's Twitter and latest YouTube video to thank him for saving Fish Tank, lol:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqnWsv0ZVjY
"Thanks for saving fishtank doc. You're a real one."
"You saved fishtank. So glad you paid to breed Chris too."
"Thanks for saving the fishtank!!!!"

That comment-spamming on Dr. Disrespect started about 6 hours ago, and Dr. Disrespect was last online about 10–13 hours ago, so the paid spam on Dr. Disrespect's videos are still incoming for Wednesday afternoon. Probably he'll have some new members paying him to promote FishTank before he starts banning people from his chat :D

FishTank Chat also decided to hate-bomb Josie tonight, so, in a rare moment, her bed was taken away, she received a shark attack that included filling a hat with a mushy canned item and putting it on her head, Jon took her room and barricaded the door after a shark salted/sugared his hair, and chat spammed all the notifications while she plugged her ears at 2:20 AM while trying to sleep on the couch:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWYcDNJlaTk
An hour later, Ben woke everyone up individually and told them that "JosieGang" was trending on Twitter, lol.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFxBR8BY8ro

Lastly,
Letty and Vance have an elimination challenge coming up — probably today. So far, most votes are asking for a "strength" challenge (versus endurance, charisma, or intelligence), which means that they're trying to give Vance an edge.

There have been comment wars going on over whether or not Letty deserves to win.
1) Team Sympathetic thinks that she should win simply because she was the most abused person on the show. They don't necessarily like her (though there is Team Simp), but they think that her survival is admirable in itself independent of her character.
2) Team Letty-Hate thinks that she deserves everything bad that's happened to her (i.e., she was most abused because she was the worst contestant) and they don't want her to win.

Letty has definitely taken the most abuse, so that part is true. And Letty has definitely taken part in the human-waste pranks, so there's an argument for "deserves" too.

Other arguments are that Vance should win since he's least likely to earn money from his FishTank fame. People are pretty sure that Letty will have simps and that Josie will make $35k in a month just from post-FishTank streaming, but Vance may only get a few thousand followers and will have to "make it" based on his music. Kind of interesting to see where priorities are from the audience, e.g.,
• most abused,
• most in need,
• least likely to have money in other ways,
• best person..

For the audience, the prize is somewhat incidental compared to seeing what happens in a house full of people who are motivated to accept gaslighting for so long, but who the audience wants to win directly affects the gaslighting, so picking a favorite is not necessarily meaningless in the feedback loop.

That said, I think that Josie would likely have broken if she got Letty's treatment, and Vance is often close to frustration despite often surviving by going under the radar. Letty is the most mentally strong, but it could be due to her being insane.

Just a quick update this time:

Vance was eliminated last week, and the last couple days have been Josie and Letty trapped in Bedroom 2 getting messed with constantly via mini-games in what Goldstriker and Jet called "Prison 2: Roman Numeral 2". The current score is Josie 38 – 35 Letty, with the winning score being 42, since Day 42 is the final day (currently Day 41). Josie's lead could be the result of the audience preferring her, since Goldstriker has been running polls to see who "won" mini-games.

Josie and Letty were given only two official bathroom tickets for leaving Bedroom 2, but there seems to be some bonus "bathroom" time in the form of the confessional and talk-breaks in Bedroom 4. I may have also missed additional ticket distribution or something.

It's been especially terrible for them since the mini-games just keep going, they're constantly bothered between the games, and they're absolutely filthy at this point. They were also sleep-deprived today, being still awake at almost 6am local time with Jet doing slumber-party talk to bother them.

Pretty wild!
I'm sure they just want it to be over at this point. They each probably just want to take a shower and sleep for two days ;D

FishTank ended :')

I was pretty exhausted about two hours before the ending, so I took a break, but these were the final moments:

Goldstriker first staged a Willy Wonka bit where Chris and Josie pretend that Josie isn't going to be paid anything because of a contract violation..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh4RUOU8wsg

And then they go downstairs and tell Josie that she did indeed (not sarcastically) win:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyPqjiFjkOs
Josie receives $35,000, and Letty receives $20,000 for 2nd place.

Goldstriker even gets a bit legitimately emotional, which is likely because this has been a really nerve-racking experience for everyone.. kind of like how even the Abu Ghraib servicemembers were wearing themselves out with all the torture ;D

They also confirm some of the suspicions about how the show was working behind the scenes, like how they would test contestants to see how much they would play certain characters or do certain actions. The show had transparently announced secret missions, but they would also hide whether or not particular acts were secret missions or just a contestant acting autonomously.

In the case of Letty, they let the audience know that they had put her up to a lot of the shenanigans, had told her to act "evil", and that Letty was selling it with good acting. I think most people figured this given that Letty had always seemed perceptive to the gaslighting, but they were trying to calm down the psychos ;D
Some comments on different videos are trying to complain that this means that FishTank was "scripted", but I think the distinction is that they would float ideas by the contestants and see if they would accept them (i.e., the contestants ultimately did what they wanted). "Scripted" for regular reality shows would be far more artificial cuts, whereas FishTank's only "cuts" were in the form of basement conversations being hidden.

Anyways, this was a hilarious show. :)

It's only Day 1, but big standouts so far are Cole, Jimmy, and JC. Cole is a bit neurotic and overly aware of his spacial surroundings, and JC is probably a VC tunnel rat who has single-handedly wiped out several American platoons on patrol near Khe Sanh. She made a comment about having studied slavery throughout history, so she might be red-pilled on the JQ. I think she's Taiwanese though. Jimmy basically has everyone following him around to listen to him so far, and he's dropping red-pill logic constantly.

The Season2 show theme is '70s, so everyone is dressed in '70s outfits, the house is '70s decor, and all the reading material is from the '70s. No cell phone usage, of course.

Extended cast:
http://twitter.com/MorganLand9/status/1736543080382410916
1) Trish — Language barrier issues. Very quiet. Possible early Josie situation.
2) JC — VC tunnel rat
3) Tayleigh — Talks too much about nothing.
4) Megan — Being called the new Sylvia due to her weight and emotionally soft appearance.
5) Summer — Seems like a Letty replacement. Pretends to be cute but is clearly a sociopath. Complained about having to serve customers during COVID, so she might be a lefty.
6) Jimmy — Possible alpha. Deep-voiced Buffalo Bill; is okay with calling things "Communist". Is saving money to take back his town from the yuppies. Possible Aryan eugenicist. Wants to dynamite the California fault line to drop the whole fucking state into the sea. Very based. Clear front-runner out of the gate.
7) Frank — (hasn't arrived yet)
8) Cole — Nam vet out for strategic victory through fire and close combat. Very likely a war-boy psychopath. The other contestants may be in legitimate danger.
9) Thomas / TJ — A probable Jeffrey Dahmer.
10) Shinji — Possible language barrier. No personality yet.

5D is streaming here:

Rocky isn't streaming yet, but he was good for season 1:
http://www.youtube.com/@rockystream/

They revealed TTS ability pretty early, so they seem to be operating under the assumption that all of the guests saw clips of Season 1. Should be interesting to see how they change things up to confuse and psy-op them.

Forgot to mention that they have Josie back on the show as camera-crew and cleaning. She was present early on but must have finished her shift.

Sam is referring to himself as Judge Jebadiah Golstriker and just arrived now that 9 of 10 of the cast is present. He started with a Daniel Day-Lewis "There Will Be Blood" character. Should be interesting to see if he maintains it XD

The clips have started :D

This one is absolutely hilarious:
"Jebediah Goldstriker [Sam Hyde] Speaks With Summer After She Has A Panic Attack"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STSmi3Gi-cA
(Highlight at 6:30 when Goldstriker starts breaking all the beds)

Video summary:
Other contestants were pretty sure early on that Summer was a weak link since she gets overwhelmed easily (she was freaking out when she first entered the house), and she has now had her first major panic attack. Goldstriker "accommodates" this by bringing her into Bedroom 1 and intimidating her until she stops crying. This is a bit reminiscent of when Goldstriker cornered Letty early on in Season 1 and removed all access of escape from Bedroom 4 while absolutely towering over her, lol ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bqV1MTwv1Q ).

JC eliminated! ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q05N62g3UDA ). She basically just thinks that some of the others need it more, lol. She was probably a little too bourgeois for their degeneracy ;p

Brian (a free-loader) managed to avoid elimination so he could have a kid-romance with Trish in the closet. They've been spooning at night off-and-on, shared a quilt last night, and today locked themselves in the Bedroom 1 closet.

Cole *might* be eliminated also, but that may just be to get him to step up against Brian. He seems to be under review and is trying to get audience support in Bedroom 2.

I have to start watching this. I missed the first season as well, when you mentioned it last year. I was like I need to watch this and forgot about it!

It's strangely addicting! :D
A big part of it is the audience pooling together to mess with contestants and meme on them.

..
Forgot to mention that Summer left on Day 4 or 5 (currently Day 8). It seemed like they were going to let her cool down in the basement and then return to the main house, but after curing her of her psychotic tendencies (and themselves of legal liability) through "Swamp Magic", they put her in the dog house to catch up on sleep, she then went to the basement, and they afterwards mentioned that she'd decided to leave.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07J_HDkqlLM

Cole has also flipped around and is doing fine as a top contender.

And Meg is out! Last night, after crying/sleeping for probably an hour in Bedroom 1 (she claimed she missed her family on Christmas), Meg switched to the living room couch and slept uninterrupted, did the Christmas Day present exchange, but then decided to leave.
(video of her leaving quietly after Vance announces it to the camera in Bedroom 1)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IudpLjzMdpo
A comment points out that she only lives 30 minutes away, so it isn't completely crazy that she would leave so far into Christmas Day. She probably gets to spend most of the evening with her family.

There was also a side story where Brian's actual IRL girlfriend shows up as his Christmas present.
(set to when Brian hugs her)
http://youtu.be/aTPhSv6xVkQ?si=opANvMpF2rO3ka6S&t=286
I'd be suspicious that the girlfriend is also just acting, but Brian hugs her for a *very* long time, so he may actually have missed her (i.e., not just an actor).
The producers very obviously told Trish to pretend to be super jealous, but it wasn't very believable. She tried to claim that she and Brian did indeed have sex so that Brian's girlfriend would get jealous, but she's clearly not the jealous type so it wasn't a very effective op. Some people are also a little insulted that they even bothered with this generic reality-TV love-triangle trope. Comments also claim that Brian was given some leeway by his GF to get physical with contestants if it helped him win, and this would fit since it's established that Brian was brought in as eye candy, so he would have known in advance.

Best moment of the season so far is that on Christmas Eve they had a mission where they all had to pretend to be sleeping while "Santa" (AirSoftFatty) delivered presents and wandered around the house. AirSoftFatty appeared, ate a bunch of cookies, dropped a mock flashbang in the kitchen where Jimmy was, then proceeded to mess with everyone else in the bedrooms while panting heavily since he's out-of-breath just from walking. Trish was sleeping in Bedroom 2, and AirSoftFatty basically laid right on top of her and broke the bed slats:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTPhSv6xVkQ
XD

So it's now down to 7 fish, ranked by their endorsements (endorsements just show who the audience likes; it doesn't represent actual rankings, which are arbitrary):
1) Cole — I keep referring to him by various Michael Shannon roles, but chat just likes him because he's very chad. I sent him a TTS referencing the movie "Iceman", but he didn't get the reference.
2) Trisha — Probably only popular with the gooners because she has no personality
3) Tayleigh — She's become popular in part due to a "Taytriots in Control" meme.
4) Jimmy — People are a little tired of him since he's just repeating 4chan information and is legit autistic in that sort of high-school socially oblivious way.
5) TJ — Snores every night. Sleeps the most out of anyone.
6) Shinji — The language barrier is a real issue. I sent him a TTS making fun of him and he didn't even understand it. People celebrated him for singing the entire Evangelion theme song in Japanese, but otherwise he's kind of a non-entity.
7) Brian — Brian is very tall, but he kept complaining about how worthless his life is, so people got tired of him very quickly and consider him a fake chad. He needs to switch things up.
• CK (freeloader) — Brian's GF is still just sort of observing and talking with Brian on the side. People are trying to guess her ethnicity. She was presented as Asian but might actually be American Indian based on her eye brows. She was first spotted early Christmas Morning, and I thought at that time she was one of the producer's GFs since they didn't acknowledge it at all.

Pretty wild how much has happened in 8 days! It's supposed to last 42 days. D:

Day 11
-=-

Top-J Cole is OUT! XD
(And Sam kicks his way out of a door)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5x1gosEDd8

Cole was apparently being passive aggressive, dropping Letty's IRL name, getting frustrated, and talking about Season 1 even though they told everyone to stop talking about Season 1. I.e., he wanted to get kicked out and so he was acting up.

Another possibility is that they dropped Cole because people found out that he's listed as an actor-for-hire in the area, so they can't use him as an infiltrator anymore. (There was a picture circulating of a head-shot of him for a local agency.) They've been telling the contestants that there are indeed infiltrators among them, similar to Damiel in Season 1. Before Summer left, she was convinced that she was the only "real" person and that this was a Truman Show just for her (lulz, very possible). That may simply be because she was seeing everyone get secret missions and could tell that they were acting fake, or there really are a *lot* of plants.. like 4 maybe. Of those remaining, these are my suspicions (most likely to be real versus most likely to be fake)
1) TJ — doesn't seem bright enough to be duplicitous
2) Tayleigh — doesn't seem to do many scripts
3) Jimmy — A little too autistic to be an effective actor
4) Trisha — Probably faking. Her willingness to "make-out" with Brian early on seemed to show she was too willing to act.
5) Shinji — Would be hilarious if he just spoke perfect English XD
6) Brian — He always seems to be acting or "working".

A counter-point would be that TJ sleeps so much because he knows he's safe; "only the guilty sleep". Lulz. But by the sleep metric, Tayleigh would also be a top suspect (big sleeper), and Cole would be super-real because he slept the least of anyone. Hmm..

Leading up to Cole's departure they also softened Cole up with some X-Box time but then had Cole and Jimmy do body-hits-only boxing:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x07IfHI2aB4
Unsurprisingly, Jimmy's idea of boxing is completely wacky haymakers and sloppy attempts at elbows. Both of them were winded after about 1 minute, though Cole seemed bored enough with it that he was just giving Jimmy his back. They make fun of Cole for punching a wall in frustration..
"If you hurt your hand, why would you punch the wall with that hand?" — Sensei
XD
Both seemed frustrated, but Jimmy seemed more so. This would play into Jimmy being a real person (not an actor).

They also introduced two new freeloaders: Chip and Nifty.
(Nifty intro):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk71ywYRKTM
I don't see that anyone's posted Chip's arrival, but he's basically retarded and was told to hype things up, lol.

Brian and CK are also having beef manufactured:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuM_5xmBSgY

It's a little difficult to tell if Brian and CK (who do seem to be IRL BF+GF) are actually having beef or if they're just doing a storyline. It seems very fake, so I'm leaning towards this being a manufactured breakup as part of a mission to mess with Trish. *If* it's real, then the basis is that Brian didn't want CK to come on the show, wants her to leave and will say anything to make it happen, and CK has apparently been divulging real-life information which Brian thinks the other contestants and viewers will use against them both. He's pretty young, so it's certainly possible that he's that petty, but their pacing around and pausing during this talk just seemed like a script. I think he's mixing in real information with the script just to sell it a little better, but it's overall just fake.

A comment points out that, at 8:40 in the video, Brian uses the cover of a TTS to whisper something to CK before the next round of shit-talking. This would confirm some open deception and that they're both just acting. It's very possible that every single person *is* an actor who thinks that the other people are real and that the goal is to see who realizes it (i.e., Summer was right), but if the format is anything like Season 1, they're just introducing chaos randomly without any major narrative.

A new item is that they've also turned on the Attic camera to show demonic static, so they may be going for a "haunted" vibe soon.

FishTank is all about fishing for clips XD
I usually log-in and then see the house in chaos and try to figure out what happened by 2x-speeding through clips from YouTuber "Ah Geez Dood". @cryo2052 on Twitter also does recaps.

Today they brought on a new fish (Taylor), which gave Sam an excuse to be funny (3-minute clip):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFmaOgPmzXc

Taylor seems to be getting tasked with asking everyone lots of questions. She gave Jimmy a survey and was asking Shinji a lot of things. Speaking of Shinji, I was floating the idea in chat a few days ago that he's actually American-born but is pretending to be Japanese, and it seems some other people have picked up on this too (independently).

In other news,
A slightly longer situation is that Jimmy has been getting even more handsey (inappropriately) (12 minutes):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MD8fkGiiNXc
When this happened with Trish a couple days ago (when CK arrived and confirmed that Brian had a girlfriend) Jimmy was very clearly doing that high-schooler thing where an immature boy consoles a girl after a breakup but with a tone of opportunistic self-interest. In the above clip, he was getting *way* too close with Trish and new-freeloader "Nifty". Comments point out that Sam put him up to a challenge to get "more" than just a cheek-kiss from a girl in the house. This seems confirmed by the video below (Di88agFgoR4) where Jimmy whispers something to Nifty before getting weird with her. He likely told her to reject him after being inappropriate as part of a joke setup.

Sam also surprises Trish by cutting a *lot* of her hair off, which sort of crossed the line from "this will be a funny little hair-snip" to "this will take months to fix and kind of debased her" (13 minutes).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elUze-J8lpg
But Sam's absolute tenacity manages to turn this around and make Trish cry-laugh at herself while pushing back against everyone around her (Josie, Ben, and Vance). I had to keep pausing because I was laughing so much at this one. It really rides the edge XD
They apparently gave her a wig afterwards as a joke, and Sam then lets her cut a bunch of his hair off. (There's *still* hair all over the floor in the live shot.) Trish's recovery here really boosted her appropriately into the one spot. Current ranks by viewer endorsements:
840 — Trish
560 — TJ
530 — Brian
400 — Tayleigh
230 — Jimmy
210 — Shinji
120 — Taylor

They also woke Nifty and had a staff meal in front of her while someone pretended to do construction work in the hallway. Ben (a producer) followed this up by telling the Fish not to wake Nifty while she's trying to sleep. :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Di88agFgoR4
If Nifty is playing a role, then it seems to be a kind of SJW lawsuit-in-waiting, since she's been using SJW language and talked about intentional sleep deprivation being torture (lol). She seems to be playing the straight man so the Fish can bounce their tasks off of her.

Brian's rise in the ranking from last to third is apparently because he won a doghouse competition against Jimmy, who must stay chained in the Snoopy doghouse till this afternoon. (Doghouse rule is that a dog must be escorted to the bathroom by the person who beat the dog in a competition). Brian previously lost this to his girlfriend, CK.

And CK was voted off (@carolinekinney). She was thinking about leaving early yesterday morning (show time), but it apparently came to a vote among the Fish whether to kick Brian or CK, and they kicked CK. This is lame. Brian hasn't really developed his personality so far; his entire personality seems to be smoking. CK, meanwhile, was really growing into her skinwalker role. The morning before she left she was walking around the house hiding in camera blindspots. She even wrapped herself in a blanket and perched over TJ like a night terror and asked him questions.

On Twitter, CK seems to be claiming that Brian really was being serious regarding their relationship (him treating her like shit for sport) and is kind of a bad person ( https://twitter.com/carolinekinney/status/1740568020257476765 ). Saying this on Twitter could just be a continuous part of her contract (playing into the show's drama even after leaving), so it's difficult to use this as evidence of anything. A lot of season 1's information wasn't really settled until the final day.

User Kuroneko from FishTank chat also gave details on the Attic. Yesterday morning it was still a horror-theme setup with VHS static, creepy music, and black&white — accessible only by flipping through the rooms one at a time rather than by selecting rooms on the map. The room was empty except for an old-style alarm clock on a table, blocking the short stairway leading down into the house. There is a symbol on the floor which seems like some combination of the chaos symbol (but only two arrows in the NE/NW directions) with a kind of lighthouse-looking line bisecting in the North/South direction.

Today, the static effects are gone, and a kind of '70s psychoanalysis setup is present (a psychoanalytic couch against the wall with an arm-chair and table pointed at the couch). Kuroneko says that Vance brought up the furniture in the early afternoon. There may not have been any kind of narrative accompanying the change from a horror scene to this interview room, but Kuroneko likened it to the bathroom "confessional" setup in Season 1 (i.e., in Season 1 there was a camera in the kitchen bathroom which was only used when Fish wanted to talk directly to the audience). But, it's possible that they'll still *also* use it for some kind of creepy ritual like they did to summon the entity in the garage in Season 1.

TLDR:
• CK is out!
• Chip is out!
• Taylor is in!
• TJ kissed Taylor!
• Trish got a special hair cut!
• Trish is top J!
• Jimmy is only.. *pretending*.. to be creepy? ;D

!!Major trauma moment on FishTank!!

Even though they've eliminated people ahead of schedule, they still went ahead with this week's elimination challenge. It came down to Jimmy, TJ, and Shinji for a standup routine, with the worst standup routine (as rated by the viewers) resulting in elimination.

TJ was pretty clearly having trouble with delivery, so he was going to lose if the decision were based on merit. Jimmy's set was bad (lots of Reddit jokes), but he at least was confident, which was worth more. Even still, voters tried to keep TJ ahead. He and Taylor have been shipped pretty hard by the viewers, so there was a push for him by the Mormon/Ella avatars (this avatar: http://twi...ive/status/1656074151948427265 ), myself included, to support him with TTS. Even Taylor didn't want anyone to vote for her and wanted TTS to support TJ.

It came down to a 4-minute period before 10:40 PM (local to the show, EST) where they all had to plead with the camera. Jimmy was being painfully obnoxious, trying to be pseudo-based with lots of Roman salutes and N-word drops, but TJ sort of started to check out. I think it was more about TJ not pushing that did him in more so than Jimmy demonstrating any worth here.

• But! Goldstriker brought TJ into the attic and tried to gaslight him while giving him a second chance. He basically told TJ that he was the only one who was *not* a paid actor (which momentarily fulfilled my suspicions above), then tried to get him to talk shit about Taylor since this meant that she was only pretending to like him, but he wouldn't. He was just bummed out about it.
• But! Then Goldstriker told him that actually no one is an actor and Taylor may actually like him. lulz
• But! Then Goldstriker gave TJ a second chance to become an "initiate" of the show (one of its legitimate contestants), and this time TJ just said, "Yes".
• But! The cost was that TJ had to go downstairs and tell Taylor, "You're getting kicked off the show so I can stay" — and then turn his back on her.

TJ did it! D: D: D:
(Taylor eliminated!)

Pretty hilarious play by the producers. This meant that the mission's options were that TJ would have to fall on his sword and say, "No," to the mission and get kicked off (i.e., potentially being a "simp"/White Knight/chivalrous man for a girl he'd just met) or be willing to make a strong play — stepping into a manly role but risking that Taylor would feel betrayed. (This, of course, assumes no third option could be created by Taylor bargaining with Goldstriker.)

Production floated a vote asking if TJ made the right call, and 73% said yes. I more or less agree with this mainly because this fulfills FishTank's role as self-improvement for autistic people. It's actually much more difficult for these autists to make that hard decision to keep going than to resign and "die"/self-sacrifice. Even so, this was apparently difficult for TJ, since he really does like Taylor and has major self-confidence issues, so he put his head down at the bar in front of the group, tried to show some confidence with a little dance, but then went upstairs to sleep off some social-engagement/introvert depression like a teenager ;D

So a pretty fun development. Goldstriker's "initiate" test seem pre-prepared, so it's entirely possible that TJ and Taylor's relationship was manufactured specifically to create this audience investment — like a Hunger Games Peeta/Katniss question of "Real or not real?"

Side update:
• Delaney of the indy band "Elvis Depressedly" was brought onto the show as a freeloader. She barely sleeps at night and so has taken over CK's role as a creepy skinwalker.
• CK may not have been joking. She was leaving weird messages on Twitter two days ago (e.g., things like, "I have so many regrets", "You people don't know me", and "I'll explain what happened when I'm ready."). It *is* possible she's following up on a continued role, but she deleted those Tweets after about an hour, so she may legit be borderline in self-harm territory.

Jimmy gone from FishTank!
(happened a few hours ago, Day 23)
http://twi...rop/status/1744606120633610694

The main reason is shown in the clip above, but the context is that the freeloaders and some of the contestants were given instructions to instigate/provoke Jimmy to see if he'd crack. This is because of Jimmy's autistic snaps in the past and also to see if he's ready for Frank Hassle to appear on the show in the coming days. (Frank Hassle's gimmick is directly intimidating/harassing people, so if Jimmy couldn't handle these provocations then a violent fight with Hassle would be pretty certain.)

This goes simultaneously with Jimmy's alone time. At night, contestants will try to get time alone in a room to communicate with their fans. Jimmy's bit lately had been to pretend to respond to his fans by talking into a little toy phone. Jimmy, being a bit autistic, had sort of bonded with this toy phone as his personal property. Legit autists such as Jimmy have a tendency to see little distinction between their personal property and themselves. This principle is carried forward sincerely in private property laws, but for autists it's far more visceral.

So, Freeloader-Britney was coaxed into messing with Jimmy by taking Jimmy's phone and destroying the phone in bedroom 2 with a little mallet. Jimmy saw this playing out, ran into the room to stop her, grabbed the mallet and pushed her away from the phone as she was about to hit it again, and then threw the mallet at the wall/floor near her as she falls into bedroom 2's corner blindspot. He also yells at her, throws the bed to get to the phone, and then attempts to exit the room with the phone but sees that he blocked his exit by throwing the bed in front of the door.

Production arrives (Ben, Vance, and Jet) along with Tayleigh, Tayleigh being a bit drunk at this point and seeming to be acting stupid (either sincerely or in drunken confusion).

Tayleigh's confusion is highlighted later when she completely misremembers and misreports what she saw. While talking with Freeloader-Duan'Ye in the Bunk, she claims that Jimmy threw the bed at Britney. This is obviously false, but you can see her mind filling in the blanks from how she saw the situation when she entered the room. Some of the autists in the FishTank chat also came up with erroneous conclusions, such as...
• that Jimmy threw the bed at the door to block Britney's escape (not true; he threw it out of the way to get to the phone, then realized afterwards that he had blocked his own escape)
• that Jimmy grabbed Britney's arm so that he could hit her with the mallet (not true, Jimmy grabs her shirt to pull her arm from the mallet)
• that Jimmy was going to hit her with the mallet (not true, he threw it away from her)

That said, Jimmy does indeed seem to push Britney while pulling her arm from the mallet, and throwing the mallet "away" from her but so *close* to where she fell is obviously not good. And this is *not* the first time that Jimmy has behaved this way (as catalogued above), so it goes without saying that the producers acted correctly for ejecting him.

Mid-Level Violence and Psy-Ops
There's an issue here with the idea of intentionally provoking someone who is violence-prone *to* act violently, of course. This is called "mid-level violence" and is a frequent tactic of, for instance, low-class women, leftists, and protected classes. The strategy is to provoke and then play the victim, since it is much easier for people to see a violent overreaction than to see all of the preceding provocation. The violent overreaction is itself a "proof-of-concept" for the "victim" (provoker), since the ability to get a reaction "proves" (psychologically, for the "victim" or unaware observers) that the reaction was "inevitable" (a self-fulfilling prophecy) while also reversing the roles of who possesses responsibility and authority. Of responsibility and authority, the "victim" knows that the provoked person commands greater responsibility/authority; but in the "victim" provoking a negative reaction, the provoked person now must bare further responsibility for the "victim" due to the overreaction — this grants authority to the "victim".

This is the psychological test used by low-class women to "get under the skin" of their men, and it is used as a weapon in divorce proceedings. This is also common tactic in slave revolts and in those possessing slave morality. The way to "win" the exchange for the provoked person is to be overwhelmingly in control — to demonstrate such authority and responsibility that the provocations have no effect and can be dismissed as harmless and the underlying issues directly addressed (i.e., cutting through the façade of the provocation). This requires a great deal of self-esteem, and psy-ops can last for months or years, so it's not just something that encouraging words alone can fix.

So this is perfect for FishTank. The entire point is for the Fish to become un-psy-op-able. The fish least vulnerable to psy-ops get the furthest. People were hoping that Jimmy would get control of his autism and violent outbursts, but he couldn't. The argument for possessions does not even work, because where FishTank aligns with a kind of Tyler Durden or military boot camp, fish must maintain their possessions but also override connections to them when it means self-preservation. Jimmy could not break this need to protect a phone as himself.

Sam is building an army. ;)

Fun updates in Tayleigh/Britney/Trish saga of FishTank:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXiEgOG4jxc

Tayleigh called Britney a sociopath and ruined some plushie or something (not in itself a big deal). This was part of Tayleigh knowing that Britney was assigned to Jimmy to provoke him and get him kicked off through violence. The issue with Britney is that provoking Jimmy came a *little* too easily for her. People get put up to missions all the time, but they can reject them or cheese them if they don't agree. (This is not to excuse Jimmy's response, just to point out that he was up against a pro.)

Tayleigh also messes with Trish here, and there's an exchange where Trish "gives back" (throws on the ground) some of Trish's stolen items, Trish tries to block the throws, connects a slap to Tayleigh's face (not necessarily intentional, since Tayleigh was holding items near her face), and Tayleigh connects a direct punch to Trish's mouth/nose area. Ben is later paid via FishToy to give Tayleigh a pep-talk for this ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l9xQ31qbWE ).

It's kind of interesting in comparison to Season 1. People would get in some interesting altercations in Season 1, but violence always seemed to be minimal. This season, physical contact rules have been broken/bent a *lot* — and not just in the case of Jimmy and now Tayleigh/Trish (e.g., Karate class, sanctioned fights, physical challenges). It must be intentional at this point, in which case the rules must have changed.

The video also illustrates how annoying Freeloader-Duan'ye has become. Yesterday, people were trying to get the fish to just ignore him altogether. Someone also paid about $250 for a FishToy that required Duan'ye to be silent for an hour. He's basically on a loop of saying, "black", "White", "african", and "culture" in various arrangements. He's very loud. His response has been to yell across the house so that even when he's not in a room his presence can't be avoided.

Chat has *also* been trying to ice him out. They're trying to get people to stop even mentioning him in TTS, to change cameras when he's in the room, and not do anything that monetizes any of his behavior. This is tricky, since TTS are trying to encourage contestants to stand up to him. None of the fish so far seem to know how to deal with a conversation monopolizer, and Duan'ye doesn't have the IQ to respond to passive-aggressive tactics such as people ignoring him for being annoying and loud. (I.e., social pressure isn't going to work; he is literally too stupid to consider their opinions and he projects his own insecurities as their faults.)

My only idea so far is to have the contestants rotate whose turn it is to distract Duan'ye. So, if Duan'ye enters a room where everyone is, everyone leaves, but one person stays and asks him lots of questions. If Duan'ye leaves to find the others, the strategy repeats.

Short of that, an exploit Duan'ye is using is that because *he* is so annoying, other people cannot seem to annoy *him* into leaving, and freeloaders can presumably stay indefinitely. It's a curious puzzle. People think Frank Hassle will neutralize him ;D

The last week has been pretty hilarious with how quickly things have changed.

• After some interviews, Jimmy was basically confirmed as a legit psycho that they couldn't fix in the autist boot camp known as FishTank (so a lot of it was not acting after all)
• Nifty also turned out to be a legit weirdo, based on things they said after she left. They were definitely pitching her scripts, but apparently she smelled awful and wouldn't shower.
• TJ and Taylor shipping has continued despite Taylor being gone for a while now. "Taylor claimed my heart." http://twitter.com/FishFoodFlakes/status/1750774868197757315 I've also sent a few TTSs encouraging this quite a bit, lulz.
• They brought in "Mr. Beast" (a guy named Greg who looks like Mr. Beast but is borderline retarded IRL and says, "Friggin," a lot), who was too timid to talk his way out of leaving on his first night and instead cried when he was alone that evening and has since become part of the autist crew.
• They also brought in Freeloader-Oliver, who is from New Zealand and isn't that interesting.
• All remaining contestants and freeloaders have had their heads shaved like Fight Club space monkeys. That means that Trish, whose head was partially clipped by Sam, actually has the most hair right now. TJ, Kayleigh, and Shinji have no hair, and Greg and AirSoft Fatty were bald already.
• Frank Hassle maybe isn't as effective as in season 1, but he got some freeloaders to quit, such as "Jackie", who couldn't trust that people wouldn't cut her hair off. He's had some hilarious moments.
• People thought production was just gas-lighting by saying that Jackie paid $20k to be on the show, but per her post-show interview with FishTank clipper "ReactSimply", she says that it's true ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjy5nkggxDs ). The assumption is that she has OF income.
• Alex Stein dropped by and got to listen to Sam talk about Tom Cruise being a force of nature ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utXLRcQDX_Y ).
• Duan'ye finally left (probably asked to leave due to production boredom).
• AirSoft Fatty had a panic attic under the bunk after being nailed in with boards by Tayleigh (panic partially coaxed on by myself through TTS, lol).
• The evil symbol in the attic has been painted over with a happy heart and some flowers.
• Yesterday, they broke the drywall between Bedrooms 1 and 2 and called it "open concept".
• Today, they placed a bunch of potted plants in the remaining drywall-sandwich between the rooms, placed other plants and decorations around the house, and they're calling it "the swamp" to go with Goldstriker's bayou/gator theme.
http://twitter.com/trollwv/status/1750799965666922601
• About 10 hens were let loose and have been feeding and napping in the lounge area.
http://twitter.com/El_Cilantro/status/1750659109907497045

TLDR
It's almost over!!
It's day 40 now (Friday), and I think they intend to wrap on day 42. Between TJ, Tayleigh, and Shinji, I think TJ has made the most improvement, but Tayleigh has pushed the most. Shinji has a lot of support, but with the language barrier I don't really get the impression that he's had to change much.
The house is totally trashed. Lol

!!! TJ won FishTank S2 !!!

2nd place: Shinji
3rd place: Tayleigh
4th place: Trish

It was kind of a weird ending. I don't think they were super excited about it, but they really went with a fight angle on this season so they may have cornered themselves. Tayleigh was probably eliminated because she wouldn't be able to do endless boxing for the final challenge. She deserved at least 2nd place, but they really wanted a physical fight — probably because Sam fancies himself a fight trainer as part of the self-improvement aspect of the show, and it's just personally rewarding for Sam to teach something he knows.

TLDR:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aawaonDWZHc

Tayleigh was eliminated, then TJ and Shinji fought until Shinji couldn't breathe and was effectively KO'ed by exhaustion (probably has something to do with how many cigarettes everyone was smoking in the house). TJ's monotone response to being declared winner: "That's cool." (lol)
His speech was a little dicey, but he managed *not* to say, "Like," and, "Umm," repeatedly, so that alone says something. He made real improvements on the show and hopefully won't relapse to being a stuttering autist. Sam really does seem to be trying to get his fanbase to stop being so weird, lulz.

Lulz. The FishTank adoption of chickens made the local news in Rhode Island:
http://twitter.com/B3XTAC33/status/1751826379379773821
Looks like I was correct that it was 10 hens :D

They were treated nicely and returned, so the news is just being sensational. Also pointed out by former Freeloader-Betty:
"So you guys actually saved 10 chickens from being inhumanly caged and slaughtered, then sent them to an animal sanctuary?"

... so... you'd have to ask if the chickens are better off being slaughtered or adopted [and then slaughtered??] ;p

Pretty funny video with a cosmic-horror vibe where Bread-Tuber Destiny goes down some rabbit holes with A.I. bots and strange A.I. projects, such as a fake person called "Dr. Allen Egon Cholakian", who appears to be either a completely fabricated person (certainly appears in A.I.-video as fake) or a real person who is being expanded and falsified with A.I.:
[DataMosh; August 5th, 2024]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEc5WjufSps

If you search for this "Cholakian", you basically get hits from semi-legit sites, but individual links don't pass scrutiny beyond a click or two. For instance, if you search his name, the first link that pops up is a link to an (apparent) Harvard research gate:
https://harvard.academia.edu/EgonCholakian

..but, if you look closer, that is not an actual .edu website affiliated with Harvard. This is basically a public site with .edu branding that *anyone* can submit "research" to. This is what has been done. There, you can go to individual "papers" that "Cholakian" has submitted, but the summaries themselves fall apart when you do a close reading. They'll have random symbols where the A.I. breaks down, and they'll have missing punctuation and inhuman diction.

And that's the thing. Most of this looks "legit" if you're just skimming — and that's exactly what most people do: skim. A lot of people just click a link, accept at face value its authority with a quick once-over, skim it for a general "sense", and believe the conclusion. Worse, there are A.I.-generated bot communities that are key-word activated to respond when these subjects are raised. Destiny finds in his own Twitch chat that users are auto-generated in minutes to submit "proof" that "Cholakian" is real, but the "proof" is A.I.-generated to only seem real to skimmers. Where this clip was raised on Twitter ( https://x.com/ShitpostGate/status/1843444950127738899 ), you can also see bots are activated there to provide "proof", but, again, this only convinces people who believe while skimming, since the claims of these bots do not match the material they present. This again goes to skimmers doing a kind of "once over" to check for consensus in comment sections. Skimmers are basically setting themselves up to fail the Turing Test of these A.I. projects.

In the case of "Cholakian", all references to him use these exact sorts of falsified sites that look legit with a once over. So you can make a LinkedIn for anyone, a Facebook is open too, so is researchgate. Then there are A.I.-scraper sites such as https://fox5sandiego.com/, which propagated A.I.-generated stories about "Cholakian" (similar to how various — even legitimate — websites scrape AP News and re-publish AP for their own views, a practice done by Yahoo, MSN, and others). A lot of these auto-upload A.I. sites just get ignored by people because they're obvious, but there are clearly SEO backdoors that people can use to get picked up by local distributors that have automated their scraping to accept certain "legitimate"-seeming links.

All in all, "Cholakian" appears to either be some A.I.-developer's test project, or it's just a kind of SCP project by a Lovecraft enjoyer. (SCPs are part of a fictional semi-real universe where people bridge horror narratives with social-media spaces so that viewers are rewarded by "researching" and finding the bread crumbs left by the SCP writers.) Given that the "research" presented by this A.I.-generated "Cholakian" has to do with CERN, particle physics, and the apocalypse, it's very likely an extension of that SCP community. So it's pretty hilarious, but it's also kind of an indication of what kind of falsifications are on the horizon in terms of government propaganda.

lulz. The writeups might not be super long this time since these are just edited re-caps ;D
fishtank S2E02:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCKOJoUxN2U

.. though there *has* been some new information as cast members have seen the interviews of other contestants or given some commentary during the episode airings. Jimmy streamed episode 2 a few hours after it aired:
[October 20th, 2024]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzrGzMdGH4g

JC was in Jimmy's chat giving her own insights on the experience. One issue JC saw was that she was given a mission by production (which is normal for every cast member), but the other cast members seemed maybe too stupid to understand why she did what she did.

The task was simply to get Megan and Summer's poker chips (an early-season2 currency that was pretty much abandoned after this mission), which she did, and she gave them back... but she also got other chips from others and hid them. When production gave her the clear to tell everyone the truth and return the chips, the others were basically too retarded to understand why someone would complete a mission in order to not get kicked off the show. They basically failed the "Breakfast Question", since they could not express what they would have done differently. JC seemed to agree with my comment in chat that she was attempting to communicate with people who were about two standard deviations beneath her, lulz.

That was a repeated issue with some of the fish. They're all basically Hyde fans and thus on a 4chan wavelength, but any time you hear people such as Tayleigh talking, the thoughts are just not that bright. I interacted with "OddBod" (a fan who harassed the show so much that they let him become a "freeloader" for season 2.5), and it was basically the same thing — just not that bright. He would say, "I'm not a nihilist," and then go right back to saying nihilistic things with zero self-awareness. There's a kind of dead-end mentality here with a lot of them where they think that being a streamer or "personality" is just passively achieved, that fame is an end in itself, and that when you want something you should just stare at a camera for 10 hours a day until enough people pay you. Their delusional autism is part of the fun of observing their behaviors, of course, but there's also only so much raw material to "fix" in some of these contestants, and Sam *does* seem to want to fix these people.

One sad thing with JC's episode 2 arc is that they focus on Cole's support for her, which I kind of missed during the original live-streaming. JC genuinely wanted to help Cole, and she gave him little hints that she was doing things on his behalf, but Cole seemed to take a hit to his ego when he found out that he was defending accusations against JC taking chips only for them to turn out to be true. When she was giving him all of his chips back afterwards, she was totally leveling with him and he could have built a permanent alliance with her, but he was putting his head down like he didn't trust his in-person perceptions anymore.

This explains Cole's downward trajectory afterwards. I saw a lot of the live-feed of Cole moping about the show after JC left, and seeing this hit to his ego makes sense. Cole has done some interviews since the show and even appeared in FishTank's post-"BitchTank" streams, such as during a livestream by "AutismFishy", answering some of my silly questions (this was probably late September), but I don't think he'd admit to being hurt by the JC situation. I think he was right to trust JC early on — even in his factually mistaken defense of her — and his intuition was correct about her being a friend, he just didn't realize that she was being totally sincere and his self-diagnostic misfired. He did at least confirm that he remembers hearing my TTS messages saying that he looks like Michael Shannon, lulz.

TLDR
Even though Cole and JC may have only been a strong-friendship alliance, it was still fun to romantically ship them and a shame to see them fizzle when trust was broken. It now makes a lot more sense why JC left. She had pretty much burned all alliance opportunities — even Cole due to his not trusting his judgment afterwards — and none of the others were really smart enough to understand her position. Her comments about the others "needing" the show so much that she should step aside for them (something she said in her farewell that will probably be shown in the next episode) make a lot more sense now since she could continue to college and do well (interviews show she is currently attending), whereas most of the others are degens, and FishTank is their big chance, lulz.

Also, random note:
FishTank has now gone through this chronology:
- Season 1 (original cast: Letty, Josie, Vance, etc.)
- Season 2 (currently airing as edited episodes: TJ, Shinji, Tayleigh, etc.)
- Blood Games (a role-playing vampire-themed outing in the woods)
- Season 2.5 (centered on "the cell", which was meant to be an after-party but morphed into a profitable venture when people kept paying them, lol)
- BitchTank (an extension of "the cell" with an all-female cast, including Shadi, Abi, Kato, and a cameo by anti-feminist Pearl)
- general streamer anarchy (FishTank gave previous fish and freeloaders the ability to stream on the official site)
- POWtank (another "cell" variation but this time produced by "Jacob", who was a freeloader during BitchTank/2.5 and is semi-known for troll streams using "Monkey" (which is basically a Chat Roulette-like service).

TJ and Taylor did indeed continue dating after FishTank season 2, even appearing together during Blood Games, but... during POWtank, TJ returned and seemed to confirm rumors that Taylor had cheated on him (or simply that they had broken up). The cameras honestly do not get close enough to their faces to tell how much is an act, but TJ did seem genuinely upset about their breakup. Taylor pretty much went silent after that on Twitter (@bigolmtwn), and no one has really pushed her for details there.

It seems like only the viewers of POWtank caught wind of this, which amounts to maybe a few hundred people (myself being one of them; I've been pretty consistently logging into the site). I would guess that when season 2 catches up to Taylor and TJ's romance that a lot of people will want updates and will find out about this and start poisoning Taylor's timeline. It's definitely interesting to see more details come out and to see how the show has kept all of its cast members available to the viewers. The show is attempting a real collapse of distinction between viewer and participant, but there are still firm lines in place. Some of the people in chat seem to have delusions of being included on the show by being hyper-active in chat, but the entire concept of the show is to mine autists for content, so getting on the show and being subjected to abuse really should not be an aspiration :D

S2E03 aired today:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKmHVo73PQ4

Pretty funny episode, though the interesting (new) detail for me is that they told Cole during the show (in a private interview) that JC specifically quit so that Cole could stay, since Cole was going to lose his challenge and be sent home otherwise. During the original airing this wasn't clear, so showing the interview was nice. He also talks to the camera about how he needs to respect JC's move, since he regrets kissing Trish after JC left. Lulz.

(This episode takes it to Day 7, and Cole leaves by Day 11.)

And Season 3 begins today in about 2 minutes!
There have typically been about 300 people in chat, but it increased last night to 800, and right now it's about 7,100.

The producers have kept a lot secret, but they revealed that the new contestants do not know about the show (unlike season 2) and have been told that the house has an A.I. system that will talk to them (that "A.I." being TTS messages from viewers that have to stay "on narrative").

5D is attempting to stream the entire day here:

Lulz.
The cameras are still a bit messed up, but so far the opening gaslight is that Sam is pretending to be a Hollywood producer running a show called "Famous House" where influencers compete to be his protégé (kind of a "Making the Band" satire). Ben is pretending to be his gay assistant and is actually pretty convincing so far.

Three contestants have arrived, and they already made them repeat the introduction a couple times. Repeating cuts is always funny since it's a live show so people see all of the cuts :D

It's a huge house. I don't know how they move around money to do this. It's the same house that BitchTank was filmed in, so they've had it for a few months. The BitchTank bunk beds and bathroom are visible in one of the cameras, though it's all cleaned up and redecorated.

Contestants so far:
Mizzy — stocky goth girl from L.A.
Alexis — tall blonde, former prison worker, divorcée with a non-present twin with whom her husband cheated on her
Lauron ("Zesty") — 27-year-old gay black guy who is engaged

I'm having lots of fun :D

Fourth contestant arrived and it's a gay black man named Burt who apparently has done some pr0n (autists found him). Chat loves him :D

Fifth contestant is a young skater guy that just walked in.

Mizzy's name is apparently Marissa:
http://x.com/bladeeworshipp1/status/1850620327417766315

Some peeps claim that they found a connection to FishTank that would make her a plant, but I haven't seen that yet.

Sam announced to the house that the reward for winning is $5000, but that can't be right. That must be the minimum, since even the freeloaders in Season 1 were getting about that much.

They asked Mizzy if she found out about the show. She apparently researched one of the people that contacted her for initial Venmo payment, but she claims she didn't find anything besides some podcast appearances that he had done. She may be telling the truth because she didn't give anything up during her interview.

She claims she's 24-years-old, and people were very suspicious of that, lol. I think she was telling the truth and it's just the lighting and possibly some liver failure from bartending ;D

She also apparently thought Sam Hyde was "hot" and "handsome", and Sam is going by "Jeremy Gold" this season.

Everyone was hoping there would be Indian contestants, and the sixth was indeed Indian, lol. Sam introduced him by saying that they took the number one guy at the call center (lol)

Yeah, lulz. I'm wondering if they've looked around and wondered why they're surrounded by fellow autists ;D .. they must be wondering how "famous" the show will make them ;p

5D's stream was copyright struck. FishTank is apparently being more careful about that this season. I have a fishtank.live subscription, but re-streamers are nice just because their chats have less spam.

FishTank's official YouTube released a funny trailer for the season using a fake cast:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL-GEez74wQ

They continued the bit of the reward being $5,000, and Sam actually kept decreasing it every time he mentioned it to the actual cast.

Day 1 is basically over since they're all in the "designated smoking" area and the audio has too much echo. ;p

FishTank - Season 3 Day 2
---

Some of the FishTank S3 dust has settled, so this is the general situation:

• Mizzy — Goth Girl #1; from L.A., former bartender, aspiring artist with a few songs in the works, quit for the show, mom has cancer, she herself looks like she has liver failure from bartending (is 24-years-old but has skin issues), and she may have a lazy eye but not as bad as Betty's clone (Letty)

• Alexis — former prison guard, has a child and two miscarriages, and has been very intentionally flashing her butt in spandex to the camera and other contestants for some reason (like, not at all accidentally), probably has a hysterectomy scar, I think she said she's doing this for surgery to remove her apron (which goes to my hysterectomy theory; hysterectomies can cause FUPAs due to localized hormonal dysregulation)

• La'Ron — gay black man who is trying to do sort of TikTok short comedy skits; probably just trying to get more viewers

• Burt Obeng — Burt! Burt! Burt! Does glamour modeling, has tried to do some acting roles that are searchable under his name, has a strange fetish/wish to play a nice guy who turns out to be a rapist, weirdly shy for an actor (autistic). People think he was masturbating in his bunk last night, but I'm personally pretending that he just has a nervous hand twitch D:

• Ted — Travis Bickle sk8er boi. Probably has done meth and slept under a bridge; most likely to be the plant, I think, just because he seems too comfortable with what's going on

• Simbal — Indian man sar yes sar. Call center number one sar. People kind of expected Indian contestants this season because Sam pulled a prank on the Matan podcast:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc9pStHJ8SY
There's also be a running joke with "India" clan on FishTank, who primarily uses the Indian Man TTS to bother contestants.

• Binx — !! Goth girl #2 !! From Florida, immediately hugged Mizzy upon arriving. Goth power! Gazebo clique rising! ;D
She has also never worked out before apparently and thought that a black tutu was a good workout outfit, lulz. She claimed that she's allergic to sunlight and that she has light redness scarring from the sunburn incident that initiated the allergy, hence lots of white makeup (some of this can be a real thing, but it's also used as a goth-vampire claim so it's equally likely to be made up, lol)
http://x.com/jrosey326/status/1850944504733241390

• Payton — tall blonde model type. Seems to be in a JC situation where she was especially mistaken about what kind of show this was supposed to be, lulz. She's been socializing more, though, so she's probably just as crazy as anyone.

• Luke — Tall uber-chad. A little autistic but seems to be fit

• Alex B — Absolute methhead. Like, unstable gas-station methhead. He was very aggressively warning people not to call him a liar last night and was threatening people with gestures like invasive pointing (getting into people's spaces with pointing).

• Smaack — Sk8er gurl, little bit of a weed personality, has kewl Cally fashion vibes

• Ian — Final arrival. Hasn't shown much personality yet, but he may be Mexican (possible shyness due to language barrier)

They just staged a video on "fire safety", which is entirely because Binx decided it was a good idea to start a paper-towel fire on the stove:
http://x.com/vortmax79/status/1850929804364677353
Binx walked the fire in a frying pan about 200ft across the house (and carpeted area) to put it in the fireplace. She apparently did this because she couldn't locate a lighter, lulz.
Production also revealed that they're doing this to work on Burt's acting skills, since they genuinely want improvement from everyone and know the audience loves Burt.

Currently, Mizzy, La'Ron, and Alexis are filming another fake scene where they address the casual use of slurs on Day 1, lol. Mizzy and La'Ron seem to genuinely hold these positions (e.g., that only black people can use "that word", that only gay people can use "that word"), but production is clearly doing this to make them think that this is a "hip" and "with it" show, lol.

One side thing is that there have been some negative issues with them telling the cast that the cameras are not live (i.e., that footage will be edited afterwards). (They did this to get more candid moments.) They *also* told cast members *not* to change in front of the cameras, but this has clearly backfired into the cast thinking that production is the only one who will see the footage. The result is that Mizzy and Alexis have both changed in front of the camera (albeit backs turned), activating the FishTank gooners.

Tayleigh ran into this issue in Season 2, since production had a camera pointing at the downstairs bathroom where a mirror partially showed the shower door. There's definitely a line here. The cast has been warned, of course, and the fact that it's not censored via delay is part of why people like the show (i.e., uncensored and unpredictable). Still, a lot of contestants are maybe not prepared for this level of coverage and don't want "that" kind of fame. Production softens that blow by hiring people who were already a little degenerate, lol. Most of them were hired from their actor profiles, even if they were mostly doing other stuff and only said something like, "Would act if a role were available" XD .. and even people like Betty, who intentionally flashed the camera while drunk during season 1, has been coached by FishTank viewers to not go down that route, so there's a recovery process here. :)

Yeah, 5D is a silly billy so hopefully FishTank will see him as promotional and let him stream. His normal streams are usually just him browsing YouTube and trolling small channels, lol. He appeared on Jerry Springer years ago because he tricked the show-runners with a fake story.

Lulz. They just announced to the FishTank contestants that Hulu picked them up and aired their first episode. They told them that their lead editor is "Simmons", who is actually a creeper that got kicked off first during Season 1 because Internet sleuths found out that he had some weird camp-counselor .. umm.. fantasies :|

Anyways! :D
They're showing them the "show within a show", convincing them that it's a popular and normal mass-produced show like Big Brother. lol....

Someone already clipped and uploaded that:
http://x.com/SublimiNora/status/1851373643311276071
Incredible gaslighting. In season 1 they couldn't hope to convince the contestants of this much because the budget wasn't quite there yet (e.g., season 1 they told them that they'd all gotten thousands of followers, but they barely even believed that because the house was so small and they'd already gotten the impression that they were being lied to about everything). With the bigger budget and bigger house, they can convince them that it's all legit.

And you can tell that Mizzy and Alexis are trying to re-interpret Sam revealing to them yesterday that they are "live":
http://x.com/lilshitpooper/status/1851374142466961621

Of the last thing, yesterday, Sam asked Mizzy how they know that the show is live, which accidentally revealed it to them. Sam was thinking that Alex had told them or that they had known about FishTank and lied during auditions:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXKSusV-0jI
When it turned out that they didn't actually know, Jet gave Sam the okay to just tell them but for them to keep it a secret between them.

Now that they think the show is actively airing on Hulu, Mizzy and Alexis seem to think that "live" means that it's being actively edited and released. I.e., they maybe don't know that "live" means that there is an always-watching audience.

Pretty wild that they could get them to second-guess previous knowledge this quickly. Now the cast is trying to talk to themselves about how wild it is that the show is airing immediately as opposed to a year from now. They're so focused on being overwhelmed by immediate fame that they're not questioning anything.

lol XD

People pointed out that Simbal (Indian man) was not in the show teaser, and while that was interesting enough, they just confirmed that it's a bit. Sam just said that they'll be telling Simbal that there's a technical issue, so they won't even be interviewing him even though they've been interviewing everyone else for their reactions to the Hulu announcement XD XD XD

More details on FishTank S3 contestant Luke! :D

Luke's full name (likely stage name though) is Luke Valentine. Luke was on Big Brother (BB) season 25 in mid-2023 and was kicked by the BB production for ending a sentence with, "Nigga":
"We were in the cheese room, nigga."
From TMZ: http://x.com/TMZ/status/1689368200830423042
He even went to the BB confession room afterwards to talk about it.

This further informs the meaning behind FishTank trying to get Alex to say the forbidden word more; they're doing a reverse-BB :D
FishTank users are using the new BB hashtag to get outrage from BB viewers who hoped Luke's life was over XD

Luke also had some wild moments in the last few hours (before bedtime):
• Luke Smashing Pumpkins:
http://x.com/imjustbored203/status/1851518181581742549
(he had to clean up afterwards, and the other cast complained that their pumpkins were ruined, lulz)

• Luke calling Simbal "Wi-Fi Signal" and pushing Simbal into Bedroom 1:
Composite view from Bedroom 3 and Hallway:
http://x.com/FishtankChud/status/1851508341119271307
View from Bedrooom 1:
http://x.com/LiquidAdvice/status/1851517215373205643

This apparently began because they all went into Bedroom 3 to ask Luke if he stole their candy. Afterwards, Ben tried to tell them to stay calm until the morning, and some of the cast thought this would get Luke kicked (lulz). Simbal tried to get Ben to kick Luke on the spot — clearly leveraging the moment. They then spoke with Luke in the basement for 30 minutes. The physically weaker contestants all moved mattresses and quilts into La'Ron's penthouse together and blocked the door with a 1-pound table, lol (Penthouse crew):
- Alexis
- Mizzy
- Binx
- La'Ron
- Ted
- Payton (above them in loft)
- Smaack

Bedroom 3:
- Burt
- Alex

Den:
- Luke
- Ian

Bedroom 1:
- Simbal

It's pretty funny that even though Simbal was the one who was pushed, everyone just left him to be the lone/sacrificial zebra and re-formed a herd without him. Part of this is that they wanted Simbal off anyways since he stole candy early on (whoever has the most candy will have immunity at the end of week 1). But people are pointing out that it's transparent virtue-signaling and they don't actually care who was affected.

When Luke woke around 5 AM local time (they're in Maine), Jet gave Luke a candy-stash location and told him that he can "find" Mizzy's candy and give it to her as a sign of good will. Luke currently has 2700+ endorsements, which puts him in second behind Burt at almost 5500.

Full Audience Popular Vote List (only an indicator; no effect on eliminations):
5499 - Burt
2774 - Luke
1641 - Alex B
1480 - Binx
464 - Mizzy
368 - Ian
305 - Payton
277 - Ted
260 - Smaack
216 - Alexis
146 - Simbal
109 - La'Ron

Luke got a huge boost from this, even passing Alex.

Binx is in fourth because of her tearful confessional:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWUmfxNfvqk
..but also because she's a Florida alt girl, and people have been seeing her drop hints that she's not a leftist, like this interaction with Ted where she calls him gay for crying about Luke pushing Simbal:
http://x.com/LittleManfish3/status/1851517955063861548

The big issue for this morning will be how production can thread the needle to *not* kick Luke but also not give up the game to the more left-wing/SJW contestants. One of the risks they ran by picking so many normies is that a lot of them may just walk if they think the show is too edgy.

My list of most likely to walk if production reveals too much of the game:
1) Smaack (32-year-old Seattle Quirk-Chungus meme)
2) Payton
3) Alexis
4) La'Ron
5) Mizzy
6) Ted

Even though Mizzy is a *Cally* alt girl, I think she'd stay even if social pressure amps up. The SJW herd morality is mostly in the top three of my list, with even La'Ron showing that he'd put up with some edge if he thought he could win. Simbal is purely using SJW logic tactically; he probably has no real limit. Ted might just be the type to follow the girls out the door if he thought he could network afterwards ;D

Luke is the tall chad guy. He was pretty subdued until his big move against Simbal.

Sadly, he was eliminated a couple days ago :'(
Production confirmed to the audience that he was a plant (Jet literally said something like, "The audience knows you're a plant") and tried to help him recover from the Simbal push. The next night, Luke was told to get everyone downstairs to see "The Computer", which was basically a tower-PC prop that production was using to convince the fish that upcoming TTS were from A.I.

Luke instead ran around banging a pot and telling everyone that there was an elimination vote. The same night he went downstairs to production (which is off limits for fish), so production basically felt like Luke's cover was blown and had to pull him to avoid having the rest of the fish see what was going on. Luke went on Instagram.live yesterday and confirmed that he was familiar with FishTank and is a fan of season-2 cast member Jimmy. They *might* have already brought him back as a shark (wearing a ski mask disguise), but it's difficult to tell if that was him.

Other updates from the last few days:
• Ian kicked! Production was legitimately annoyed that Ian was an actual non-sarcastic freeloader, so they changed his label from "fish" to "freeloader" in the contestants list and then got the house to vote him off. There was even a scene preceding this where Sam tried to get Ian to work out with him, and Ian seems to indicate that because he's claiming disability that video of him working out could be used as a fraud claim against him:
http://x.com/JupitersParadi1/status/1851772670700085727
This made for some fun memeing about him being a little boy spoiled by his abuelita ;)

• Burt's autism with "The Computer" reached such a fever pitch that Burt concluded that "Famous House" is actually a gay dating show and that all the women were paid actors facilitating gay dating. Jet was able to flip Burt's autism by convincing him that the focus on the men in the house was Jet not checking his male privilege and needing to "do better" to re-center the women. They ended an hour-long 5 AM conversation by Jet saying that they would fix some of the competitions to favor female skills.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cRIc-LkFbo
That precipitated into today's contest between Simbal and Alexis, where all of the rules of the competition were clearly fixed for Alexis to become President of Famous House. There was also a competition that Burt should have won that they instead gave to a female fish for the same reason.

• Sam and Ben have been doing bits where they try to convince the fish that there are disagreements in the creative direction of the show following the extra pressure to produce for Hulu (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oMaM6A2r54 ). In this narrative, Sam's "Jason Gold"/"G" character thinks it's a quirky early-2000s reality show where he's the diva-star of the house with a gimmick catchphrase, and in Ben's version Jason is just a host facilitating the cast who needs to be more serious and ominous. A 4chan poster speculated that this is a return to the Season 1 premise where the host of the show wrestles creative control from the rest of the team and then slowly goes insane from the pressure.

• People are again speculating that Ted is a plant. In addition to Ted's early behavior showing that he seemed to have insider knowledge of the show's "real" purpose, he today said, "TTS" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBP15cgddgc ), which has overlap with streamer terms but is also pretty unique to FishTank.

• Mizzy knows that the show is live to an always-watching audience, but she was told to keep it a secret for as long as possible.

• Binx and Smaack tried to hide off camera in the bar restroom, but they were picked up on audio talking about "Free Palestine" after Israel was mentioned in passing during a scene filming. Sam used this as an opportunity to gaslight them about not being able to say that because the industry is dominated by jewish interests and they'll get in trouble ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ldk0LbjSnk ).

Pretty good stuff!
They're still doing a good job slow-boiling them so that once things get messy they'll probably stay. :D

Yesterday (Day 8), production had Payton steal Mizzy's diary to see if she'd said anything about the show being live, but Payton failed the mission by telling Mizzy that production put her up to it.

So today (Day 9), Mizzy just spent 20 minutes in Confessional with Ben telling him that that was not cool ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdrgqpqzP1E ). She also revealed that when she first walked into the house she knew that "This was not 'Famous House'" and that the house was obviously not furnished well enough for them to think that (lol).

Mizzy also asked, "What is FishTank? Is that the actual name of the show?" lol. Production had been asking contestants if they'd heard about FishTank, and their explanation to contestants was that FishTank was a project they'd worked on that had gotten them in legal hot water and that they can't talk about it. Mizzy maybe believed that at the time, but now she's figuring it out. She said that when they announced that Hulu picked them up, she knew it was bullshit.

Mizzy also pointed out, "We were all cast as crazy people," and Ben had to pretend that they were cast because he thinks they're all "interesting" (whereas, yes, most of them are legit on the spectrum in some way). He *did* say that he cares about all of them, which is likely true, and given how former contestants are treated, it's definitely shown. In season 2, Greg, who was brought on as a Mr. Beast lookalike, was super worried that the show's edgy vibe would get him ruined when he returned to streaming, but he's since realized that the FishTank community really likes its former contestants and that it's a community forming around the idea of being uncancellable. So Ben kept reiterating, "We'll take care of you [after the show; just stick with it]."

Ben also revealed to her what production was telling fans, which is that they went to day 20 speed yesterday and need to pace themselves and draw things back.

Lol this show is gold. Thank you for the recap of the days, it helps a bit that I watched the starting day for an hour so I know a little bit of the people in there at least the first 6 people.

Mizzy is the smart one of the group it seems, I guess she will be "voted" out soon enough then. Cant have smart fishes in the tank. That would be problemtic for the future.

Any talks about the prize money is that still a wooping 5k?

lulz, np :D
I usually check for updates whenever I have a few minutes. That "ReactSimply" YouTube account has been turbo-autistic about updates this season. I did my writeup about Mizzy and then checked his account and he'd already posted the video. He must have no job ;D

They apparently dropped the joke about it being $5k and have been telling them the truth about it being $50k. Whenever a contestant sounds like they're going to leave, Ben reminds them that $50k is still in play. That's how much TJ won in Season 2 — up from $35,000 in Season 1.

BREAKING! ;p

Minutes ago!
Ted removed from Famous House!
http://x.com/chimp_mode/status/1853553027564613765

Full context:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAftQY9Bjgg

It's a bit confusing what's going on because multiple explanations are circulating.

The internal explanation (a lie) that production is feeding the contestants is that Ted injured his wrist and it was medically dangerous enough that they had to evacuate him, called his family, do not expect him back, and the contestants can fill out a card for him. The way that Jet broke this to the cast almost made it sound like Ted slit his wrist, but it's more likely that the contestants knew that Ted was skateboarding so contestants would connect the dots as a skateboarding injury.

The *external* explanation (likely true) is that Ted was not an *intentional* plant but that he had insider information about the show and lied to get on it. In addition to Ted saying, "TTS," last night, people posted a clip of Ted from last night where he says, "FishTank," which production removed from the site after people clipped it.

So, basically, production knows that Ted was lying during the casting process and purged him to keep the rest of the cast from knowing about the show.

The risk they're running is that the cast is pretty emotionally narcissistic, so "bad thing" happening is taken as an injury to themselves (already being memed ( https://x.com/MZjosef/status/1853560283836367074 ); similar to how they formed a groupthink session after Luke man-handled Simbal — ignoring Simbal and talking about how it traumatized *them*). So, if they get too emotional, they might start voluntarily leaving. This same thing happened in Season 1 when Simmons was kicked out: Mauro, who was the most emotionally sensitive, immediately left too.

I think the most vulnerable here would be Burt and Alexis. Alexis tries to be a hardass to appear to be a top manipulator-type, but she has been sniffling a lot and might be thinking of her kid at home. Burt's emotions were also very unstable and he is not coping well. Binx is outright crying, with Mizzy and Alex hugging her in the corner of the kitchen. Mizzy is the type to cut her losses if she sees others being hurt too much, so there's a cascade set to go off here.

So it might look like..
Phase 1: Burt and Alexis quit
Phase 2: Binx quits
Phase 3: Mizzy leaves in solidarity
Phase 4: Smaack is convinced by Mizzy and leaves too

That would leave Alex, Payton, Simbal, and La'Ron. No one likes any of those people except Alex, lol.

So hopefully they settle down and remember that no one really likes Ted ;D

Someone on Twitter is claiming that Haley from BitchTank saw Ted on set ( http://x.com/7thfealty/status/1853560345299697769 ). If true, he was apparently expecting to be on BroTank, which was cancelled, and this was like a second chance to be on the show, which he fumbled by not being able to keep show secrets. I don't see anyone else confirming this.

I missed this yesterday.
Haley seems to confirm that she met Ted at the FishTank house during BitchTank. Comments say that several others couldn't keep the secret either.
http://x.com/ssadmessiah/status/1853554462037557621
So it's (maybe) not that Ted lied to get on the show, it's just that he couldn't shut up about knowing about the show.

FishTank S3 Day 13 – 14

The bomb has dropped!! :D :D :D
They told them that the show is FishTank :D
(TLDR at the end)

(Below assembled from ReactSimply, since I've just been seeing pieces)
A couple of days ago, they brought out a container filled with money so that the contestants would know that the prize is real, but then they started bringing in freeloaders, which started making the regular peeps uncomfortable :D

• On Friday morning, Smaack's family called the FishTank house (again) for "cultural reasons" (per Sam), which likely means that they realized that it's not a PC show. They requested that she be pulled from the show and used a fake family emergency as pretext to get through to her:
(just the first first mins)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBRFBwb3Ihk
Some comments speculate that the producers wanted to remove her right before things got crazy, but that goes into blind speculation territory.

• They show them the "famous House" teaser again but let it fade into images of the Season 1 and 2 houses, the Blood Games town, then let them stew:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqLNjlAi6Sg
(At 20:50, one of them realizes that Vance was a former contestant. They also realize that the current house has furniture from the previous houses.)

• Sam then switches to his Jason Goldstriker character from Season 1 and starts saying, "Fish Bucks," instead of, "Famous Bucks," starts breaking things like in Season 1, and has them count rice like in Season 1 and 2, making sure not to distribute enough rice piles for everyone and so leaving Burt in a panic:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i4gdezA26U

• Then, about 8 hours ago, Sam told them all that the "Famous House" Hulu show is, in fact, fake, and that this is actually "FishTank", which has been streaming live to an audience of 10,000 — 20,000 since they've arrived. He preceded this by gaslighting them about them being in the "Famous Neighborhood", where winners of multiple houses can go on to win $1-million, with Smaack and Ted having "possibly" found clues that got them to the next house. (This might be a reference to The Belko Experiment movie.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5_339hANrQ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTB3uq53gnE

So the meltdowns begin! \:D/
La'Ron was distant right when the freeloaders started. When they got the news about FishTank, Alexis was crying, and Payton immediately backs away to the fireplace (more objective spot). Once Sam leaves, those two just leave the room to be with La'Ron in Bedroom 3. Payton seems to break down when she can't figure out which parts are true and which are false or the order of who knew what when.

• Payton seems legitimately scared and unsure if she's in a hostage situation, seemingly thinking that she doesn't even know if she'll get her stuff back if she leaves the house.
But! Binx calms them all down, convinces them of what's going on, and chat drops TTS to back up the real story line:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lWlYmiugYk

Binx's streamer creds really kick in here, since this show is like a streamer's dream. She's excited when chat tells her that she's passed 1000 subscribers on her Twitter (basically a cosplay page: @BinxBasiliskk ), which is leading people to return to (early) speculation that she did indeed know about FishTank in advance and has been waiting for the reveal:
(E.g., this person speculates)
http://x.com/sy_ck0/status/1855163659065946493
The few things going against this theory would be things she could easily have lied about, such as asking if the free plushies she's been receiving were from fans (they were; they can be ordered as Fish Toys).
Given how quickly she swooped in to calm people down, it could also fit that she was told in advance that this moment would come and that she would need to convince people to stay. On the other hand, her comfort with streaming could just be contagious. Kind of tough to say for sure since streamers have become so used to how TTS and chat comments can be. Pretty much everyone on the show wants to be streamer-famous, so it's difficult to separate what kind of choices that kind of person might make from what a normal unconcerned with fame might do.

Mizzy also gets to download a lot of information here, basically getting to flex how she kept being right about her conspiracy theories and that production had to keep getting her to be quiet about the things she was correct about.

• Burt asks the good questions and gets clear answers from Sam:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrDJzEJQYao
At 10:50, Sam clarifies that Ted did indeed lie about not knowing about the show so that Ted could get on the show. If that is true, then it's possible that the cast members on BitchTank who interacted with Ted (if they were telling the truth) had interacted with him during a casting process that was not wholly known to production.

That's very possible, since BitchTank was kind of off-the-books nonsense in a lot of ways. Sam and Jet showed up for portions of it, but it was not particularly structured, so a lot of those cast members coming and going could probably fall through the cracks. They were literally pulling people from local Internet pages and local shelters, lulz.

Sam also tells Burt that he's the most loved on the show (around 11:00), which is still true.
These are the current rankings among viewers:
10918 — Burt
3402 — Alex B
3361 — Binx
939 — Jobe (new freeloader)
743 — Mizzy
564 — Payton
307 — Alexis
294 — La'Ron
227 — Simbal
99 — Connor (new freeloader)

I've been endorsing Mizzy from the beginning, even though Binx has definitely done cool stuff. She seems less interested in fame for its own sake and more just wants funding for the art she already wants to make. Chat hates her though, lol. Mizzy also has a random gag right now which is that production paid to have a professional makeup person apply her makeup every day, lol. (Someone claims that an audience whale paid for this, but, if so, that was done directly to production rather than through the website.) This follows from an early-show comment where Sam called Mizzy "ghoulish" when the Confessional's bright lights washed out her alt makeup.

Lots of people dislike Payton for being naïve, but she's also 19-years-old, so if she doesn't just reject everything that's happened and instead interacts with the audience after the show, then she may be in the same boat as Season2's JC, which is that it'll be a kind of eye-opening experience to have fans that get her to question normie politics and grow from it.

Burt seems stressed at 13:00 when he finds out that they were gaslighting him because it was funny, lol. He says, "You guys are sick," but he's not laughing *with* Sam when he says this XD

16:45 — Mizzy still thinks that Luke stole her candy, so I guess Luke did *not* let her in on the secret as a move against Alexis and La'Ron. I guess he just thought it was funny to misdirect everyone :D

19:50 — Burt still thinks it's a gay show XD
This is great because there's been a running quotation since Blood Games where Jon wanted off the show because they kept making him do "gay" stuff, to which Sam responded with, "It's a gay show."
http://youtu.be/BL37AwFuWSY?si=gtRlBs20oUUjz3Cc&t=329

Absolute anarchy as Burt starts dancing to the FishTank theme song and everyone else runs to the kitchen to join in a likely scripted moment since it's so completely bazaar, lol:
http://youtu.be/GrDJzEJQYao?si=MKsv5KiXQN9-qSiW&t=1334
It seems almost too good to be true, and they *did* do something similar in Season 1, where they staged a psy-op with AirSoft Fatty and a fake prostitute where she rejects him but he later comes down stairs and joins the group, who all Last-Supper / Renaissance-painting the camera:
http://youtu.be/u_OuTTMJvj4?si=qS0m1igM_XSfq8bd&t=5039
If it were *not* staged, then the reason for everyone running to dance would be that they've so deprived of social media and music that hearing a song playing would legit draw all of their attention ❤:D

• Sam even calmed La'Ron into getting drunk and staying:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_DpjBrBzag
In the middle, Sam wants La'Ron to say, "These White people tryin'a kill me," because it's a bit he's done in the past. There's an entire audio file for it that would play a lot on the FishTank website, but I can't find a source for it. It might be from a movie, but I'm not sure :/

TLDR!
• Smaack left due to family sabotage!
• Sam told them the truth — they're on FishTank!
• The "sensitive" fish melted down, but Binx and Sam calmed them down and they seem to be staying (for now)!

Crazy stuff for the show.
The fish very quickly adapted to accepting positive TTS and knowing that they had live fans.

Alexis quit!
She was afraid this would hurt her.. umm.. nursing license? wut?

They also did a Cell challenge today (still in progress), and La'Ron quit not just the Cell challenge but the FishTank house altogether. Production is allowing TTS but not sound effects, though they themselves are spamming SFX continuously. It's basically a 1-to-1 repeat of the post-BloodGames cell challenge (same exact room, same ball props, etc.).

So the cascade has started, though not in the order I expected. Burt is weirdly committed. Even though he was upset at first, he clearly likes how much TTS likes him, so he's ready to keep going.

With Alexis and La'Ron leaving, Payton's security is basically gone, and she's been going inward like a child whose parents are arguing. Binx and Mizzy have maintained their bond, so they're fine. Alex B might leave just because the narratives have become too chaotic for him to figure out, and then Simbal has so few endorsements that production might just pressure him off.

So..
Final three?
1) Binx
2) Mizzy
3) Burt

Next gone?
• Payton

Wave 2 gone?
• Alex
• Simbal

Think the group may have been a bit too obscure to have more conflict and less bonding, but it may have bitten them in the arse in the end?

Yeah, I guess that was the problem with getting people on the show by tricking them, lol :D
Some of them clearly thought it would be an edited-for-TV production, but finding out it's live and totally unchecked anarchy was too much for a few of them. One speculation about why Alexis left while citing her nursing job is that she (supposedly — I haven't seen it myself) mentioned stealing some pills from work on the first day while she thought she was having a private conversation, so she may be afraid that Internet trolls will try to ruin her career with that info. Hopefully no one actually does that to her. That would not be cash money.

But Payton is showing more fortitude than I gave her credit. I thought she'd quit the cell pretty much immediately, but she survived for almost a full day. This morning she was even having fun with the producers while they were moving the camera around in the den, possibly playing it up for her simp army, lulz ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zSFhqtg9Pg ).

Mizzy left the cell challenge first, then Payton, then Alex. It ended up going to Simbal, Burt, and Binx, then Burt against Simbal, then Simbal as the winner. The final elimination was that they each had to hold onto a raw fish while trying to destroy the other person's fish, lol ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao6WJnq9N7c ).

Today is kind of a break day since the cell was such torture. Mizzy is currently having an existential crisis about what she's trying to prove, if anything. Seems like Payton and Mizzy are now the most in trouble just because of confidence and commitment. Simbal jumped up to 840 endorsements from 227 after his win. Endorsements don't mean as much as the amount of TTS and Fish Toys that viewers spend on someone, though. Binx is getting an absurd amount of plushies — maybe 18 or more with each costing viewers about $300 each. Payton is also getting a lot of plushies. Looks like she has about 10. Burt also has about 10. No one else is really getting them.

11910 — Burt (10 plushies?)
3478 — Binx (20 plushies?)
3035 — Alex
1861 — Payton (10 plushies?)
840 — Simbal
764 — Mizzy

FishTank's offical channel has been doing a livestream on YouTube, btw.

FishTank S3 Day 22: Alex eliminated!

Frank Hassle arrived last night and was pretending to be cool, but then he turned it up this morning and got Alex to leave:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dlGKPZrMI8
(basically lots of spitting and intimidation)

This followed pretty quickly after Alex's wife crashed the show. None of that section was worth watching since there was so much cross-talk that it was difficult to follow things, lulz ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37OuLc28Rrg ). But the short version is that Alex is in an abusive relationship with an obese Colombian woman and her family who are using his family inheritance to fuel their lifestyle. Alex apparently met her after he got off of opiates and didn't realize that she was using him. Sam tried to communicate this to Alex a couple times (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GckWMzK_2l8 ).

So Alex's wife, Jacqueline, forced her way onto the show to get Alex to leave, then settled when she thought that she'd gotten production to get Binx to leave. (Binx was a target because trolls were gaslighting Alex's wife IRL into thinking that Alex and Binx were flirting — something that trolls could sell because Binx is also Colombian.)

Some of this could obviously be fake, but Sam seemed sincere, and autists found that Alex is indeed married to Jacqueline and has a very expensive condo with her and their exotic pets ( https://www.youtube.com/@Bernards_/videos ). There's a question of how functional the relationship is from the inside versus to outside observers too. Alex may feel like Jacqueline being abusive is better than him being left to his own devices. Relationships do not always make sense.

TLDR:
Alex gone!

New audience favorites list:

FishTank Season 3, Days 27 – 29 of 42

Big updates!

• Mizzy left Friday :'(
• "Famous House 2.0" has begun!

Longer version:
They were trying to drop one more original contestant for "Act 3", and Mizzy ended up being the one cut:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymH0Z7IwUOY

The above video is an hour long because that ReactSimply channel has gone turbo-ultra-autist and lost the ability to edit — but in a funny way. He also did a 4-hour video of a 2-man cleaning crew vacuuming the house, lol ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp17ARB7Nvc ). But.. the elimination is at 1:05:00ish.

(TLDR in the time-tense of the video is that "Act 3" is a reset to "Famous House", where the entire current cast will be hidden away and then brought back in alongside new contestants who think that this is the beginning of the show. They'll fast-forwards somewhat to where "The Computer" is active again, so TTS will be active but people have to roleplay as an A.I. program again.)

So the remaining contestants had to decide which one of them wouldn't get to be part of the new format, and they voted Mizzy off. Kind of a bummer. Simbal would have been the best but had immunity, and second to him, Payton would have been a much more obvious choice. I think they should have left it up to viewers as in previous seasons. An example was with the elimination of Taylor in Season 2. TJ was up for elimination, but a bunch of us were spamming TTS to get TJ to stay, so they kept him and dropped Taylor. TJ went on to try a lot harder and win the whole thing. I think they should have given Mizzy the same opportunity instead of just having the cast decide. If the insult-challenge was any indication, she brings in a *lot* more money than the others. This was the "all press is good press" rule, since even her haters were dropping money to insult her.

Mizzy did some post-elimination streams. One highlight was that she did a stream with Frank Hassle, and she really played into memes about her late-night snacking by going full hood-rat and eating fast food during the entire stream, lol:
"Mizzy Chats with Frank Hassle Post Elimination from Fishtank Season 3"
[November 22nd, 2024]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnRZjjDEvV8

She's back on her YouTube channel here:
https://www.youtube.com/@lifeismizzy
And Twitter: @lifeismizzy

Unlike a lot of former fish, she may actually be creative enough to make legitimate content, even though FishTank viewers have probably rightfully trashed her attempts at music. The only other example of this was Greg from season 2, who, pre-FishTank, was a kind of normie streamer known for looking slightly like Mr. Beast, but has since gone on to make some whacky and surprisingly well-edited videos while shedding his former subscribers ( https://www.youtube.com/@Skitzy_VA/videos ).

Comments in Mizzy's livestreams are trying to gradually get her to realize that she's not in normie spaces anymore, lulz.

As for "Famous House 2.0", the former contestants have now embedded with the new cast members and have been tasked with eliminating them.

Current audience rankings (asterisks for OG contestants):
12938 — Burt *******
4368 — Luke *******
4160 — Payton *******
3696 — Binx *******
1023 — Simbal *******
470 — Mule {StickerMule's mascot}
198 — Star
117 — Breezy
95 — Tony
88 — Gianna
54 — Kawan
37 — Alex B
26 — Brandon
15 — Braden (eliminated for knowing about the show, but still visible in the contestants list right now)

Luke has clearly absorbed a lot of endorsements now that he's back. I've switched from Mizzy to him myself, since he's the only non-ironic choice now. The reactions from the remaining cast members who knew him have had to be suppressed since they cannot reveal that they've been on the show already:
"Luke RETURNS As A Plant Amongst Plants In Famous House 2.0! | Fishtank Season 3 | Day 29"
[ReactSimply; November 24th, 2024]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZTJTgYppms
(Only the first couple minutes are relevant to the cast hiding their reactions.)

It also may be that they've had to think about why Luke was behaving the way he was before he was eliminated, so they now know that they were wrong about him. That itself is an interesting social behavior, since they were willing to be PC and gang-up against him when they thought that the show was mainstream, but now that they know that the show is *not* mainstream and now that the Alexis–La'Ron speech controllers have gone, they don't have to cater to those social rules. I think that's more than just peer pressure given that these remaining contestants have let on that they're a bit edgy themselves; that really shows that most people really will just read the room and code switch as necessary.

Payton, Burt, and Simbal are obvious stragglers to this. Payton has been propagandized into lesbianism, so she is likely code-switching to remain in the house despite disagreeing with the anti-PC edge. Burt is also a kind of naïve innocent in this, since he has been taught that "bad" words are bad, but he also does not have the cognitive ability to multi-task those social scripts before reverting to other intrusive thoughts. And Simbal clearly supports speech controls, likely because he is a client group that benefits from their weaponization.

That means that — of the OG crew — basically only Binx is in Luke's corner. As I write, she is currently trying to set the tone among the kitchen by talking to Luke about fluoridated water, lulz XD

Anyyyyyways, switching to "Famous House 2.0" was pretty jarring at first, but it's a pretty clever idea. The OG fish are trying not to mingle too much with each other, so there's a kind of "Among Us" game dynamic at work (but multiplied) where they're each trying to leverage their insider positions to take out the new people.

They also have a sub-plot with the "Brandon" fish, since he's clearly a degenerate. He apparently sells drag clothes on his online shop, and he was telling the other contestants that his followers tried to burn him when he sold children's sizes to a parent who was obviously going to put his or her own child in drag. The implication is that even though he may not directly condone child-drag (though he clearly does), he's nevertheless willing to facilitate child sizes, which itself is degenerate. Production asked viewers to be patient, since they're going to eliminate him but want to do it with maximum impact.

The last thing is that this format is potentially a gaslight. Production is claiming that they intend to leapfrog the show, which would mean that the OG Season3 contestants will still leave at 42 days with their respective $50k prize (i.e., 13 days from now), and the new contestants would continue into their own (new) 42-day goal with another $50k at the end of *that*. This could potentially signal a permanent cycle.

On the one hand.. this makes sense because production realized after Blood Games (season 2.5) that people really will just keep watching, even if it's just one room with a 24/7 livestream. On the other hand, having a perpetual show means a loss of structure, so production will be stretched thin and run out of ideas, and viewers will have their autistic willingness to learn minutiae pushed to the limits. The problem with that is that even if FishTank is capitalizing on obsessive people like a casino, as a simple psychological phenomenon, obsessive people will completely drop tasks if they feel exhausted by them. That's typically how fixations end: exhaustion.

That's why I'm hoping it's a gaslight and that *everyone* is going home after day 42 of this iteration. That also makes sense practically, since they *have* to accelerate on the previous contestants to force their eliminations, and new contestants would be overwhelmed by that since the frogs have not had time to boil.

TLDR:
Mizzy gone!
Famous House 2.0 has begun!
13 Days left for the remaining 4 contestants of the original cast!
Elimination tonight! Possibly Brandon!

Brandon eliminated!
Simbal eliminated!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaTfhDjbJ4I

They showed that there's a clear divide around the anti-Brandon camp and the pro-Brandon camp:

Pro-Brandon
• Burt (mostly because he wants to hook-up)
• Breezy (knows him IRL; against their contract https://x.com/vilerat_/status/1860834491503169635 )
• Payton (she's irredemably PC)
• Binx (too ambivalent)
• Alex B (degen)
• Simbal (ambivalent)

Anti-Brandon
• Luke
• Kevin (maybe)

The rest weren't too vocal.

Binx had a serious lapse here, which showed another reason why I could never endorse her. She was still thinking strategy and that she should vote-off Simbal rather than Brandon, whereas the right move was to forget that strategy and get rid of Brandon — even though she knew that it's what Sam wanted. Simbal made the same error. These people still think they should be voting off the strongest person rather than the weakest. They still don't get it, which may be a casting situation or just the effects of the slow-boil. It is Big Brother logic to vote-off the strongest, not FishTank logic.

Payton also lost almost 1000 endorsements (now at 3224). I think those losses were by a lot of the people making the genetic argument, but they just realized that she's broken and probably going to continue a cycle of abuse. Burt also lost a lot, going from 12938 to 11758 (-1180), so a lot of people are not forgiving him for his short-sighted sexual impulses. Still, he remains #1 ahead of Luke.

Simbal was voted out by the group, which proved Mizzy right. When Mizzy was up for elimination, she warned them that they should keep her because she would be most likely to be voted off by a new group, which would mean that Simbal would have a shield for the first week. With her gone, Simbal had no shield, so he's gone.

This all basically means that Luke stonks are massively rising (now 8809 versus just 4368 hours ago). The surviving OG fish are the worst or just irony picks (Burt, Payton, and Binx). Kawan, Tony, and Kevin could step it up, but they have shown very little personality so far outside of Kawan's Zoroastrianism.

So what's funny is that Luke would not have to change at all to win — but probably he is not even eligible for the main prize — whereas Payton and Binx would have to change maybe more than they *can* change to win. Binx herself has gotten too self-assured but does not realize what the endgame is, so that may be a horse that cannot be broken.

So Jet posted this:
"It’s time to wreck this ship"
https://x.com/jetneptune_/status/1860936887906558271

They may turn-up the heat rapidly to test contestant morality. They probably do not have the patience to give people chances after they supported Brandon.

Major surge of pro-Luke sentiment! \:D/

Viewers must have caught up on the new developments of the last two days and switched their endorsements:

Luke is now top-rated:
11986 — Luke
11016 — Burt
3174 — Binx
2552 — Payton

329 — Kevin
177 — Star
129 — Tony
89 — Breezy
65 — Shelby
62 — Kawan
61 — Gianna (gone)
43 — Lily
34 — Alex
25 — Alyssa
22 — Sky

And Gianna has left the show:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKRNHxl_2p0
I wasn't sure where Gianna fit into the pro-/anti-Luke camp, but apparently she came down as Pro-Brandon Anti-Luke, so bye bye! Sam really messed with her on the way out — got a bit mean-spirited there and had to walk it back to get the rest of the interview questions answered ;p

lol
It was confirmed that their announcement that the show would leapfrog was a lie. They eliminated *all* of the new fish yesterday (November 27th), so it's back to Luke, Burt, Binx, and Payton again as they start the final 9 days. Chris is in the house too, but he's a returning S1&S2 freeloader so that's normal.

There are a few floating speculations about why production did this.
• One is that none of these contestants were booked for anything after Thanksgiving, so everyone getting kicked today was entirely about getting them back home for the holiday (and/or even avoiding having to pay them holiday pay)
• Another is that production wasn't happy that the old cast was not getting the new cast to quit fast enough so they just did it themselves (probably overlaps with the first reason)
• Another is that they spent too much time on the Brandon plot line and burned their time to get the new cast to freak out and leave (i.e., didn't boil the frogs fast enough)

The narrative production is using is that they're giving them all absurd stories in order to get them to break their contracts so that production will not have to pay them (technically, going downstairs breaks their contracts, but they were all tricked into going downstairs).

Production gave each one of them a silly excuse for why they were leaving, then filmed some departure scenarios:
• Tony needed weeks away from the show to handle credit card fraud
• Lilly needed to follow Tony to Italy because she loves him
• Kevin got a Mormon modeling gig
• Turbo has to go because Vance got the script confused and actually she doesn't have immunity she has to be kicked
• Kawan won a million-dollar sweepstakes

Kawan's was the funniest, since he got super angry, got in Sam's face, insulted Binx, and basically smashed a bunch of things before he left:
http://youtu.be/kQfPnSGxK0I?si=OOQmgZzRAFfBdvwK&t=1630

Each contestant seemed to just be following production's lead, since, regardless of the obviously fake stories, they each seemed to realize that production really did want them off the show (aside from Tony, who really believed it, lulz). So Kawan's meltdown was probably genuine, which sort of paints production as a bit malicious or cruel, but there's no telling what production says to them once they get them in the basement. Probably production would let them each in on the joke once they got to the basement, but Kawan's ego may have kept him from picking up on the vibe.

Lots of the comments on the recaps seem negative right now, but they don't seem to realize that production really does pay people for their time — the contract-violation stuff isn't real.

TLDR:
Back to the core group!
People are worried that Binx will win, but more realistic speculation is that Burt just needs to keep being crazy. People want Luke to win, but I think the rules do not actually permit that. It could be that they keep him until the very end but don't award him the top prize. Jet indicated that they have some fun things planned that do not involve another "Famous House" trick:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vv4cyg7X2P8

Should be fun. :p

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thread Wrapup! \:D/

FishTank Season 3: Entering Final 7 Days
After the Thanksgiving Holiday, production pretended that they were cancelling the show early because viewership was down (this, after they told viewers to stop watching and be with their families, lulz), then pretend-declared Binx the winner, and cut all of the cameras. A few hours ago they stopped the gag by live-streaming the last 4 contestants in an R.V., then started driving them somewhere.

It's not 100% clear if they're actually going somewhere new or just driving around before returning to the house. They picked up a former freeloader a few minutes ago; and Jet, Ben, and Luca are all following the R.V. in another vehicle, so a new destination seems the most likely. (Streaming the follow-on vehicle wouldn't be necessary if it were the same location, since deceiving the audience wouldn't have any effect at this point.)

So a big reset going into the final week!
Enjoy the holiday ✿:)
